Just before watching this video I was attacking a Galleon fighting a sloop. I fired a couple times and then 2 skeleton ships came up from the water!!! Long story short I was hit by a cursed cannon ball causing me to dance and I ended up veering outside the map...sooooo...Coolest moment of my life!!!
The reason the map is at the front of the new ship is because they want it to be a little harder to reach than the sloop, but not as hard as the galleon. I do think they should move it to the middle of the lower deck though.
Baron with the new update u can make alliances, u must put the heart flag and the other ship must put the ✅ flag, then you should see them on the map Edit:alliances with other ships

It would be awesome if you had the option afterwards to make your galleon look like a skeleton galleon and your crew and when its over you gan go around terrorizing the seas as a cursed crew
if there waw an update i hope there will be a ship the can launch a cannon but its only explode if in water and hit other ship for simply a "torpedo" but there no torpedo on the era or there is? i don't know
It's almost painful to watch you guys be so bad at this game. 1) Yes, there are "waves" (pardon the pun) of skeleton ships. I believe there's 5 waves for each section of the map. There are 3 sections...The Shores of Plenty (North West, plain white skellies, cursed cannon balls will lock your steering on your ship), The Ancient Isles (South, plant skellies, cursed cannonballs will get you drunk), and The Wilds (North East, shadow skellies, cursed cannonballs will make you dance like you did the dance emote). 2) Once you trigger the arrival of the skeleton ships just do a large circle with your ship. If you sail too far away they'll go back under and you have to start all over again. 3) When you're fighting the gold skellies (this will not happen on any of the skeleton ships), use a gun (the blunderbuss from barrel stuff range works the best, but make sure they get rusted from water first). Never use your sword on the gold skellies. When fighting the plant skellies, keep them away from water and only use your sword on them (they're like the opposite of the gold skellies). The shadow skellies need to be stunned by light first so fight them in the day time if possible, if not then stun them with your lantern first. They're invincible if not stunned by light. Hey Baron, you got it right at the end. You have to go through 4-5 waves before a named ship comes up

It's not max HP, if you hit them below the water line, they will make water and sink. If you hit them above the waterline, no water will pour in.
