I don’t think any of you guys listened properly. It wasn’t to drive the price up… did we pay more for Declan or what West Ham valued him at all along? Did the Man City bid make our owners pull their hands out their pockets and submit a third bid at the price they were asking for. Everyone knows they have the money to buy any player they want. If they really wanted Rice they could have put down 120mil cash and be done ✔ wit it. We’ve seen City do it before with Cucurella. City bid £40m and said they wouldn’t go any higher, Brighton said no £60m, so Chelsea came in and paid it.

Plus West Ham's valuation was higher than what The Arsenal seem to be getting him for; so she was right.
She's correct in that City don't want Rice. That's been obvious. But the scenario she's used I think is way way off reality. 😂😂 I think the opposite in that City's reported interest has been used against Arsenal by West Ham to get a higher price.
