1/4 million miles for a ~2006 Land Cruiser is not unusual, and they sell for as much as $20k, in the searching I've done in the past. IMO, Toyota is the only brand that deserves such a high re-sale value.
Yeah, definetly didn't know what other offroad brands there were out there and just said ARB this and ARB that. I have such mixed feelings about this. He basically purchased this with the front/rear and roof set up already. Its funny that they're in awe of the mileage. My FJ100 is at about 287k and still going strong. His seats are pretty cherry though, lol. I likely will have to redo my front driver side soon. Paint looks too perfect to me though - i'm a bit suspect, lol. Good luck to him - its an awesome rig!
I just picked up an 06 with in good condition with less miles than the one in the video. Knowing everything I know about these things, I did not even flinch at the price or the mileage.
I'd say he'd be close to that sort of weight. All that gear adds up quickly. This guy certainly has all the gear and no idea. He'll learn the hard way if he actually wheels it hard. Here in Australia it's not uncommon to see heavy 100series at near 4t fully loaded, they are usually the ones that have problems outback. Better to keep them lighter at around 3.2t max.
My 99 Lexus LX470 has 297K and I'd drive it to Alaska - I've done a ton of maintenance obviously and it's on the 3rd timing belt - all have been done at Lexus and was not cheap. Yes, these trucks are very reliable, but it's not like you don't have to spend quite a bit to keep them going, especially as they age. Mine has the Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro suspension lift, SPC uca, Metal Tech rear upper/lower links, extended sway bar links and on an on....I love it. It also has the Emu Wing rear gull wing windows. I might be selling it finally after 5 years.
Whether or not he takes it offroad is really none of our business. It's his LC to do with as he pleases. It certainly gets driven a lot and that's cool in and of itself. But with the camping gear, I'd assume that he camps in the wild. Man, I'd love to have an ARB compressor and rear locker on my Tundra. Heck, in '19, I was lucky enough to find an '05 Wrangler. 6 cylinders, 6 speeds just won't quit. Oh, and it has 75k miles on it. I had paintless dent removal guy hit the hood. I then took my buffer to it and did a total paint correction job on what little paint there is on it. Kept the 3"lift and 1" body lift. Sold the rims and tires and put some fresh 15" black steelies with BFG 33 K02s. I take it offroad and it gets plenty dirty, but then I clean the heck out of it. Mostly it's heavy Texas dirt, but very little mud. Personally, I think mudding is really stupid. Trails, rocks, hills, is where mine lives. Get it home and power wash even the tire treads. Frame, suspension, engine bay, you name it, gets detailed. I'm sure people think it's a mall crawler, but they'd be wrong! 🇺🇸
ARB does have the best bumper powder coat in the industry, hands down. Their air lockers are second to none as well. Other than that, I can't speak for their products, but I assume it's also top notch.
This dude guaranteed got this from Kings Chariot in Florida -- they're currently selling a '95 Land Cruiser with all of these exact same mods, and they're an ARB dealer. They call it the Kings Chariot Overland Build lol
Kings Chariot is a rip off. They buy cheap LC's and then throw every ARB or Dobinsons accessory in book on their vehicles and overcharge for them. I guess if you want a turn key rig sure but they have a very poor reputation on the Land Cruiser forums.

Overloading any vehicle with ARB products doesn't make them automatically the best 4x4 ever, not saying that's not cool but the equipment depends on everyone's specific use
Everything brand new not a speck of dirt not a single scratch anywhere not a single thing customized or personally modified. I would be surprised if that truck ever even hit a dirt road. Looks like it's all for show. How American.
Scrub bars run from the bullbar down to the back wheels. They are almost as strong as rock sliders but are more for small rocks and branches etc Nice and tidy touring rig.
Good Looking LC: Ever since I saw the Range Rover went through Panama Darien Gap in 1972-1973 with stock tires and minimal to no lift I gave up the idea of big fat tires. Ander SPW also recommends to stay with close to factory size tires. Leigh on GrizzlynBear showed the consequences of having wider tires and spacers (with extra weight) to his Defender 130.
They aren’t discontinuing the Landcruiser. A snorkel on a this version of a Landcruiser is pretty much a waste of money. I’ve been in three feet of water without one and it was fine, any more and it would be lacking power with the weight. Finally, he doesn’t have a quarter million miles, nice try! 225k isn’t there yet! Talk about over loading a vehicle. Curb weight stock is about 5500 to 6000 pounds with 1500 pounds payload. If it is 9,000 pounds like he said he is overweight before he gets in it with his family. Hope his insurance company doesn't check the vehicle if he has an accident.

9000 lbs is not even close. Curb weight stock is 5100lbs and armor everything RTT, awning, drawers filled to the brim you're looking at maybe an extra 1500lbs. So 6600 sure but 9000?? No way in hell.
Watching this video made me have more appreciation for the Land Cruiser series and for some reason and unexplanable hatred of Litewater products.
Take a shot every time ARB is mentioned in this video 😆
All of this stuff looks suspiciously clean/unused
Holy cow yes 100%
I Love Land Cruiser V8s
Fantastic build. Love these trucks!
This truck has never been off-road. No scratches on the paint, every ARB Accessory under the sun with tags still on it. Glorified mall crawler LOL 😂
That is a nice set up sir.....I'd love to have something like that but I love my Tundra and could put a cap on the back for all those drawers.
I own a 2003 land cruiser it has 380 klm V8 4.7 it has a two inch inch lift bullbar Tyers are coopers 285 x16 my mechanic has told me that I can drive around Australia without any problems my gas tank holds 140 liters never had any problems turn the key and go I am running high octane petrol I find that I get more klm per liter and more power as well if I run unleaded petrol I get less klm per liter and loose power
What’s the size and offset of the wheels?
Did you need wheel spacers?
What inch lift do you have on it 2” or 2 1/2”?
Did he pick that up from Kings Chariot in Jacksonville Florida?
Looks like it to me. Those guys are wonderful to do business with.
Overloading any vehicle with ARB products doesn't make them automatically the best 4x4 ever, not saying that's not cool but the equipment depends on everyone's specific use
Serious rig, nice!!
Beautiful rig...
The Toyota crowd loves packing on weight.
I'm curious on what the wheels and tires sizes are? That's a nice setup
Yeah I need those deets too
He said 33” wheels on the video.
Everything brand new not a speck of dirt not a single scratch anywhere not a single thing customized or personally modified. I would be surprised if that truck ever even hit a dirt road. Looks like it's all for show. How American.
That is an awesome rig.
305,000 and counting here on the million mile motor.
Scrub bars run from the bullbar down to the back wheels. They are almost as strong as rock sliders but are more for small rocks and branches etc Nice and tidy touring rig.
I hate the gaps between the bumpers and the body line, please paint them black and put a rubber strip between them .
This example looks like its from Kings Chariot in Jacksonville,Florida.
Nice rig, ARB everything. You sponsored
Spent most of its time on sealed roads , to clean underneath to be off road every weekend
For those of us that have far exceeded it, we are proud! Don’t brag about it until you’ve achieved it! Nice set up though. Would be curious to know more about your suspension. 33’s are pretty large, did you have to do a lot of cutting?
Holy brand loyalty batman
Nice ice tea sweater 👍👍👊
Liked everything but the promo battery pack, dual 6v work way better and cheaper
When did u replace the master brake booster? Looks new
Nice! seen this for sale. Would love to see it in the wild sir!
OMG.. I so LOVE this!!! 😍
Great video thanks! A+++ A1!!
The most amazing upload!
Nice. Except the fit of front bumper so side of front wing
Someone likes ARB!
I guess that dealer was KING'S Charriot?
Talk about over loading a vehicle. Curb weight stock is about 5500 to 6000 pounds with 1500 pounds payload. If it is 9,000 pounds like he said he is overweight before he gets in it with his family. Hope his insurance company doesn't check the vehicle if he has an accident.
I so want that Overland Jeep Rubicon on TFL Bids!
This LC is super clean for so many miles!
Really cool
250K miles is nothing, my 2000 HDJ100 has just hit 600,000kms. These things go forever
Quite the ARB ad.
Awesome rig👍🏼
Gotta put a synthetic line and Factor 55 flat end link
Soooo SICK!!!!!
It’s nice but I’ll take my own iver this one
Andre, what year is this land cruiser? Thanks
You guys are hilarious... it's "eem you" not "e moo".
Nice setup though, g'day from Australia.
Nice build
3:32 yeah you do… for that… dem 304’s haha
The truck is nice.
I HATE when people ask me how much I paid for my cars..
