- Come and join us the Festival of quilts 2023. The footage was taken on Friday 4th August. The first part of the video shows the main Gallery. Then a little bit of the stalls and then the winners gallery. I tried to take footage of the designers information as well so you can find them. Thankyou so much, for showing all the wonderful quilts. Being from South Africa this is closest I'm ever going to get to see all the Marvelous quilts and all the fabric shops, not to mention all the sewing goodies. Loved it all

Wow! So much talent on show. Think my favorite is the sewing machine. Just stunning! It was good to see so much seating available. Some of the shows I’ve been to have had no seating. I must commend you on your filming and editing skills Ellie. 👏👏👏. Looks like Jenson enjoyed himself too. 😊❤

My word,some of the quilts were amazing. Loved the grandfather clock, Billy Idol, Ru Paul, little red riding hood, the one with doilies, the sewing machine, I can't believe them all, what talented people.
This just popped up on my feed and I'm so glad it did-- wonderful to see so many fabulous quilts. Really inspiring. Thank you for sharing this with all of us who cannot get there in person, though we'd love to.

Hi dear Ellie - that was soooo good! Such inspiring work and wonderful to see how alive our world of crafts is 😊 it’s just amazing that I can sit here at home on a small island to the south of the big island of Australia and view beautiful work from the other end of the world! Another plus - I can’t buy a single thing, or can I? Hmmm - I can always look at the websites of some of those beautiful stands 😂

This work is beyond my comprehension. I think if I had another lifetime I would never be able to produce any of this work. Glorious.
The only quilting I have ever done was a hexagon paper piecing cushion that seemed to take me years to make. So I guess it wasn't quite my thing😂. But I do appreciate the craftsmanship. Enjoyed the craft produced by schools. A better thing to do than stare at a phone. Although now at my age I do quite a lot of that. Thank you Utube 😂
Going to the Knitting and Stitching show at Alexander Palace in October. There are often beautiful quilts there. I look forward to it every time as it's not too far from where I live and I don't travel well.

I’m watching this from Australia a year later. I watched Kate’s (@thelasthomelyhouse) version a year ago and enjoyed it. You are showing me a different perspective and I’m thrilled to bits! You just popped up in my feed and since I’ve missed all my Aussie shows I thought I’d have a look. Thank you for this. Hi - just found your u-tube channel ! After not getting to the festival of quilts I searched U tube to take a virtual tour with someone who had attended - it was your channel - I continued to watch more of your previous vlogs and to my surprise you’re in Norfolk somewhere ! As you spoke of a coffee/chat meet up at the end of July @ Dunston Hall ( which I unfortunately have missed) - I wondered might there be other meet ups ? thank you Jenny

So enjoyed your video. Do you know of any shows in England during the months of September or early October? 2024 Whatever the size. Maybe guild shows. I try to buy at any quilt shop I see when I am there.

This show was a real pleasure to watch without yakety yakking and taking your time to actually look at the quilts and in close up, to show the magnificent quilting, and the skill of the quilt maker, was done superbly. the quality of these quilts was magnificent. We have a quilt Show here on the Oregon Coast but not with the quality as shown here. Just marvelous, well done!
