I Got BANNED in World of Warcraft I'm Confused... For apparently hacking the game. When I did not have a job I played basically all the time for a while and got a banned they thought I was using a bot as I was playing so much. Moral of the story if how do you kill that of which has no life you ban them. I suspect its the amount of hours doing one thing dungeons it might be an automatic thing they will be able to see its your job.
Do you move large amounts of gold between your toons. There is a forensic addon for gold in the AI now. Their war on gold sellers and related activity. They monitor the in game mail gold transactions now in SoD. And now they are bannng accounts for currency traders between retail, C+ and SoD. SoD had thousands of accounts banned starting last weekend when the new scutiny of accounts started happening. Another change occurred in retail to battle rmt. They switched the retail token over to the Classic Progressive token. Only game time possible now. Now money to the battlenet balance anymore.
I've returned to retail after years absence. I too have a couple fully loaded accounts from the old days of WoD. I would like to know as well what banned your account. I used to do carries for my own toons back in the day. Is that going to end me in retail if I game in a similar and old school manner? When you are used to having two accounts in wow. Losing one of them is a crippling event like losing a limb. And I actively use both my accounts in C+ and SoD. 12 month subbed as well. And have guilds on both my accounts in all 3 versions of wow. I would have so much hate over wrongly be banned by AI. I doubt I'd ever play any version of wow again. I quit retail over how they sacked the effort I placed in garrison building. And am only returning now for fresh look at today's version of wow and rolled two fresh toons to level through classic(in retail). And after these years past. Find out there are still money making opportunities for WoD resources because no one likes to level that xpac. Now to find out what Sky Golems are going for on the AH.
At least you have a big RUclips channel to get your ban overturned. I feel sorry for everyone without a highly visible method to get their wrongful bans overturned. Just think of how many people are trying to make characters as fast or powerful as possible for fun, through in-game legitimate means, and they have no recourse.
I got banned as well few months back with my 2nd account. I have not even twinked anything, it was my "horde account", where I mostly leveled my horde toons, and I also payed normal sub for it and have bought expansion up to Shadowlands. I had no idea why I got banned, they sent same e-mail to me as well, although after 10 minutes, they did send another e-mail saying there were sorry about mistake they made concerning my account, and unbanned it. Hope that happens to you soon as well!
Yeah same happened to me this night, so sad, I have NEVER cheated in a game my whole life, I play with my husband and my brother, I am NOT a bot but blizzards anti cheat ai bots think I did and I feel violated being falsely accused and perma-banned for something I haven't done and they cant provide any evidence just an auto bot answer... I will message them until I get my account back!

Hello Erosium. First time viewer of your videos and I found you because someone mentioned what happened to you and I was curious. I’m another person that knows what you went through, or should I say my husband did. He was a multiboxer and was banned based on the number of reports. I know this because I know what was on his computer. He did not have software or hardware to help him, he manually clicked through his five windows. He received a ban which was reduced to 6 months but the damage was done. My husband, who is a by-the-book kind of guy, never even received a speeding ticket much less a mark on his account, was done with WoW because of how offensive he found his entire ordeal. They also said they had “evidence” which we both knew was an absolute lie. He uninstalled every Blizzard game that was on his computer. I did the same but like you, I’m sweaty about this game, and with his blessing I came back after a few months. It’s very hard to get people to believe you. I’ve had people try to say I didn’t know what was on his computer to flat out calling me a liar and he was busted botting. I’m telling you this story because this isn’t something new and they have been doing this since at least 2021. It seems like their new policy is “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” and punishing people based on reports and not actual evidence. I’m glad you got unbanned and I hope this mark was wiped from your account because if not, I have a feeling you’re going to have the same issues in the future.
He sounds a lot like me in terms of believing in doing the right thing and playing by the book. I was gutted when it happened to me and I can imagine he is absolutely gutted too. It's a terrible feeling to be betrayed by something you love so much. Stucked in similar situation, got permaban for RMT on SoD, because my guild member asked me to transfer ~100-150 gold from one of his character to another one (to avoid mail 1 hour delay). Never participated in GDKP, never bought/sold gold, never boosted people. Dealing 8 days with automated responses and no success. Good luck, man, I hope that it will be much easier for you since you have youtube channel, I think for me it is over.

This happened to a buddy of mine a month or 2 ago. same message and everything. all he did was farmed naxx each week on his toons and sold the t3 tokens. they ended up banning the account he held all his gold on. he put in tickets and would just get the same replies. he has played since wrath and refused to do anything sketchy. Now he lost an account and 40 mil gold and blizz wont even respond. There is a huge flaw in their system and they wont even know cuz its bots replying to emails/tickets.
Sorry to hear about your ban. Situation sucks. Sounds like probably some “WoW Pro” playing with you and thought to themselves, if someone is doing better than me, they must obviously cheating! This happened to my main account aswell when playing on the Hardcore server last year, one day I was playing with my friend and the next I was banned and we both where confused why. Well, they seem to have enough evidence for me using "Hacks"

It's basically freezing your level at a certain level and then getting Best in slot gear in ever slot including enchants and that to basically be OP in that one bracket but theirs massive downside in that you get grouped separately.
"Twinking" can mean a lot of things, but usually means an unusually strong low level character, often funded by a max level toon funnelling it resources (gold, items etc).
Banned now for cheating which i never did too after i have the account for 14 years, i made another account and bought the war within again on the same battlenet because i couldnt wait so much for their response and after 2 days i was logged out while mining and herbing and it said banned for cheating again. This company is such a joke i dont understand how they are legally allowed to operate like this.

That's really disgusting. They happily let those bots which farm elementals around dragonflight in groups of 5+ stay, for MONTHS. I've got a few screenshots of those bots still to this day, farming. Even though I've reported them every single time. And bots in general. Horrible. Everyday blizzard don't fail to disappoint me more and more. I hope you get your account back my dude. This is very disheartening... 💔😢
I wouldn't be surprised if an AI banned your account. They implement it now heavily and there will be an enormous amount of wrongly accused people moving forward until the AI will learn enough.

Maybe someone in your dungeons reported you cause you where doing way more dmg then them and had all that gear maybe they thought you hacked to do it. Its automated bots anyway that sends thouse bans
They won't tell you why even after they lift the ban unfortunately. It's quite ironic when a legitimate player gets banned for botting by a bot. Edited just to say they can overturn so be persistent with emails. I got mine back after many emails eventually.
I had a second account and my nephew when come over played it. He loved farming in winterspring and they banned the account so told them to stick it i will never play it again. Anyway come across a bot in qua plains and he does same thing 24/7 reported them 20 times and they are still there and got themselves a speed set lol Hatzikostas whatever his name is can stick it where it don;t hurt with all his BS we take bottting seriously.
I hope it does get over turned for you, however my own experience with GM's i wouldn't get your hopes up blizz banned my original account years ago when i quit wow in wotlk i had 2 month game time on it so i let a friends son try wow back then as i didn't see the harm with 2 month on my account cut a long story short they still refuse to unban my account my last response was another GM can not over turn a GM's decision also for 2 year after wanting to return to wow i spoke to 3 separate GM's who wouldn't tell me why my own account was banned and basically blanked me and refused to inform me, i haven't really took the game serious after the last conversation and cant commit to blizzard games as the last time i spoke to them they said quote *Blizzard can ban an account whenever they like and there is nothing you can do about it*, before this experience i would spent every spare Minuit on wow these days i may spend 1-6hrs of spare time if i can be bothered i don't see the point in time investing when they just say we can ban you whenever we want. I think they are all chinnese gold sellers or something cuz I cant understand a word they say but It is ovious what they are doing. They spam dungs over and over and every time I stay arround until they kick me

This happened along time ago when wow had in game GMs my friend was really good at making gold they almost bamd him thinking he was a gold farmer

Agreed mate, I think this is a legitimate auto-ban issue but I have no idea. Hopefully blizzard look into it and sort it out

there are alot of people lvl capping at lvl 10 or 11 so that they can sell dungeon runs to power lvl other people.

They spam dungs over and over and every time I stay arround until they kick me
its so odd, I just meet random people and talk to them have a blast. Everyone I played with had such a good time its a shame :(
