This really works guys. And that .cmd file(or notepad file) is not a virus, it is a way to edit your system files where the activation related information is present. So, any antivirus will block outside applications to do so, suspecting it to be a virus. It is not a virus, just disable your antivirus until you run the file and reenable it once the activation is done (no problem). When you do coding you understand such stuff, nothing wrong in it. So Thank You for this valuable information Bro.

It worked for a month. Thereafter, it stopped working: "You can't make this change because the selection is locked". What is the solution?
Its activation is only for a month and after then I think you need to pay the licence fee which unfortunately I'm unable to see that option. Btw I'm from India

Nothing here will harm the PC. It might only last for 6 months though, at which point you'll need to run Activate.cmd again to keep Office activated. As long as the students know what to do if activation runs out then you should be good.

Like bro@@jeremiebula4370.... The activation process is not legit. As u know Microsoft office is a paid software. If u don't want to pay for it that's the route buddy.
By default the Text file once saved on your laptop /pc is recognized as a virus by your Antivirus software and most times it willl be deleted once detected by your anti virus software. To bypass this just disable your antivirus software before saving the text file. The file is recognized as a virus but its not a virus it won't harm your computer in any way Buddy😅
