I had a question come up on our finale…it asked what is a main contraindication for anterior wall mi
So from this I’m gathering fluids since we are increasing preload which in turn would increase the after load that we want to reduce

I went to the hospital the other day with chest oressure and stuff. I do have physical anxiety and always have chest pain and left arm pain and what have you. Took an ekg and it said "inferior infarct, possible anterolateral infarct age undetermined". Got told everything was fine and to just follow up in a few days and get another ecg to make sure im okay. I went 3 days later and now my ecg is absolutely normal. Am i going to be okay??? Im only 29

My friend 32 y/o male recently had an EKG for some mild chest pain. The EKG came back as septal Infarct, Age Undetermined. His Troponin Levels were nearly undetectable and within normal range. I read this could have been a "False Positive" due to incorrect placement of the leads. No follow up ECGs were conducted based on his overall health and blood work. Do you believe it was a false positive or should he make an appointment ASAP?

An Echocardigram or even better, a Cardiac MRI can accurately detect both recent as well as healed/old infarct or ischemic changes anywhere in the heart.
Troponin levels goes down within a week or two follow MI.

@@devashishgole4722 Same situation happened on my daid. He has mild pain and burning sensation on Apex of heart many ECG doesn't reveal anything but recent ECG revealed sepatal infact (old mi). If it is correct is there is any solution to management surgical or medicinal. ???
Will it be healed by itself ??
