I did this fight with Strand without cheesing it, and I gotta say…with how hard this was on Legend it felt really good to finally beat him after like 30 tries. Swinging around the arena when he’s in his melee mode was scary…felt a similar rush as when you’re playing a Souls game
I did this on my arc hunter, lemonarch, void lmg from dsc, and my primary was the smg from vow. Took a couple runs, but it went fast. I'm 55 years old, too. I'm quite proud of myself. Thanks for the video
Good job, I'm using the hunter on void as well but have died 52 times so so far, made almost through and then would get bumped off the edge, so frustrating!
Hey man, Run exotic omnioculus. Run lots of Strength and Discipline. Run ashes to assets + special ammo finder on Helmet. Also concussive Dampener is mandatory on chest piece.

Hey thnx man! The LFR is called "Fire and Forget" It was a forgeable weapon from last year. It's really good and got some nice perks like Vorpal weapon etc.
Strand made it so much easier honestly lol it was deleting the bosses health bar, compared to the other subclasses I tried them all out and strand did the most damage by a lot.
Is this truly Legendary mode? Why didnt Calus get a shield when he reaches half HP. I am on trying on Legendary and Calus gets a regenerating shield after losing half HP in first phase.
yeah it's on Legend mode. If you keep consistent damage on him, he will not get a shield so quickly. I took down his health to less than 20% left in just 1.5 minutes. If you check on 1:58 he will keep his shield for a long time. Witherhoard keeps consistent over time damage that prevents his shield from regenerating.
This didn’t explain Jack sht. What weapons side you use. What mode. What fragments. What exotic armor. You just say “melt him to 20%” but how? Jesus Christ man. At least flash us your character screen

Fire and Forget, a 3-burst LFR. The Storm Chaser from Duality Dungeon has the same function.
