Perfection!!!
Nice
Yes, they are! 😃
looking at purchasing the Alpine HDZ-65 for my car, but have also heard great things about the Alpine R2-s65. I am looking for good sound quality, loudness, and some good bass. Not sure which ones would be a better fit, hoping one of you would know
Both great options! What do you plan to use for power? What is the year, make, and model of your car? Which locations do you want to put the new speakers into?
I currently have the (discontinued) Type-X comp's...is it worth upgrading to these over the X's?
There is no cut and dry answer to your question because everyone's value system is different. We can tell you that these HDZ are designed to be even clearer, more accurate with changes like the surround is attached to the woofer, the size of the tweeter, and other changes. We feel its safe to say that if you are happy with the speakers you have, then keep them. The previous X series components are still excellent speakers! However, anyone who is in constant pursuit of better sound, more improvements will enjoy and appreciate the differences in these and the previous Type X component speakers.
What did you end up going for?
How would you compare these to the Sony mobile ES speakers?
Both great brands with warm highs and good midrange and bass.
Need a better answer to that question
@@Alexbailey1473 go for the Alpine
What’s the difference in the C and CS ?
Do you have our specific model numbers handy for the two you're looking to compare? Thanks!
@@crutchfield thank you for responding. I believe I found it. One is a slim one is regular. The HDZ 65
Yes, the CS model is the slim version.
Good taste in Speakers bad taste in Music Tracks.
