@soundofhistory_ they even borrowed a song concept from him "pretty vacant" was thematically based off "blank generation" malcom told Glen to "write something like that".

I like Glen Matlock and think he's underrated, but it confuses me if McLaren asked _him_ to write "something like that" because I thought John Lydon wrote the lyrics, and there's no real musical similarity between the two songs.
@@Eman_PuedamaMidge Ure was nearly a Sex Pistol also. You can look it up on RUclips. The guy who was in New Romantic bands and a guitarist for Thin Lizzy at one point 😂
@@Eman_Puedama It was glen's words from the documentary "thematically based" is the key part of that statement I believe. Something that echo's the same sentiments.
