Wow. I’ll never forget Nevada. We canvassed all week, fought like hell to make sure the unions on the strip could leave work to vote. Watching the numbers as they came in, he swept the board, every demographic. We knew that night, he was gunna win, we were gunna repeat that process in every state. Then they literally knifed the campaign overnight. That’s when I gave up on the Democratic Party.

They protect the interests of the ruling class. The capital owners. That is precisely what the entire system is set up to do. Why do you think all the founding fathers were landowners, slave traders, & trade merchants who became insanely wealthy during their revolution?
The American revolution was just like the French revolution: a bourgeoise one. It was about trading the aristocratic ruling class for the capitalist ruling class.
Working class folks went from having one set of masters to another. That's all that changed.

Got into two arguments with my boss over this, first last week and then again yesterday. I told him Bernie was beating Trump in polling in 2020. He denied and got mad. I was, of course, right, but I dropped it because he was so upset. Then yesterday he re-initiated the argument to tell me (puzzlingly) that Bernie wasn't even in the primaries in 2020. He made it sound like he fact checked it and I was like WTF, yes he was. So I fact checked him on the spot and noted how many of his precious neoliberal rags even noted that Bernie was the frontrunner until Super Tuesday. He still denies that the DNC screwed Bernie.
Do not challenge the worldviews of neoliberals or DNC supplicants. They'll accuse you of being in bed with the fascists.
