Does it get hot in games? I've been saving up for this graphics card for months because it's the cheapest in my country. would you share your experiences?

@@lpblackout7833 i got this card. just awesome. i tested on pes 2021 and wrc 9, results is amazing. next week i ll install ac valhalla, cyberpunk 2077 etc and i ll share results in my channel too. thanks a lot. edit: i got a dual oc version.

@@Anakeish That's my numbers ... I don't own a strix, I don't know how it runs. Don't forget that a lot of factors must be taken into account ... romm temperature, repasted or not, ufficient air flow ... etc. In mining, the GPU runs super slow, so the core T° is low. Gaming on the other hand runs both GPU core AND Memory at max speed ... so you got all the Heat. In gaming it's around 75-80°C on core and 85 on memory.
Hey you, with Asus Phoenix RTX 3060. I can't get the fan to run slower than 1600rpm. What should the min fan speed be? (Noise is really annoying and before nVidia driver install it was much quieter.)
Hey ! Humm I don't know aout the NVIDIA update but I think minimum speed is around 40%. I personnaly use MSI Afterburner to tweak the fan speed and lockit around 60% while gaming. My PC is a 50 cm of my head and I never heard the 3060 in IDLE ..even with the fan running. This card is (to my concerm) pretty quiet. :)

Well ! I mean you'll get around the 60 fps in 1080p Ultra wih RT medium and DLSS. For higher resolutions (1440p) you'll need to increase DLSS and disable RT.

Hi, is it possible to take off the plastic shroud without taking off the heat sink? Is there an indent on the heat sink for the fan to sit in? or is the heat sink just flat and the fan sits over it? Thank you very much!
@@pepapu7112 hey sorry for late answer, kind of busy since few months. The heatsink it self is bigger than 2 slots from like 4 mm. The fan is around 0.9 cm thick so you won't be able to get a much smaller one. And it already fits inside and indent of 4 mm or 5 in the heatsink. The fan blades are tied together with a cercle of plastic. I believe it's a 2 parts cover, the plastic around and the fan. So, I'd say, It can't be used in a 2 slots case since heatsinkl is too high already :(

I guess this card is out of the question for me, since my case only fits 2 slots. I'll be looking out for a MSI 3060 aero instead. Thanks again!!!
@@pepapu7112 You're welcome. MSI Aero cards are defenitely the 2 slots choice to go with. It's the model MSI use in their Trident desktop series. You also have PNY that makes a 2 slots single fan card. But only MSI and Asus have Backplate. :)

@@Reaper0931A 500W PSU would be enough. But for futurproof and no pushing the PSU to close to limits, I recommand at least 600W, 80+ Gold. The Asus 3060 consumme about 170W, the 10700k can go up to 200W.

I have this card and it runs amazingly
really love asus's phoenix lineup, nice designs, not much of a sacrifice in performance, and similar to msi's aero itx cards
Hopefully better quality than the aero lineup. I've got this coming but my 1070 aero does some bizarre stuff

Yes It should, since the motherboard has a PCIE x16 4.0. Only thing that needs a graphic card actually, with power from PSU.
