I haven't seen anyone talk about diffusing oregano oil if you're sick so if I'm repeating myself, I'm sorry. I had a little boy that I fostered for years. He had a huge sensitivity to antibiotics so I'd begun reading about old healing ways. I found doterra but there are many really good oils.... they need to say therapeutic grade though. For my little guy, it worked so well that he always asked for oregano oil once he'd developed strep symptoms or ear infection. He loved the hot smell because he associated it with feeling better! It made my house smell like an Italian restaurant. 😂 Anyway, I just wanted to bring up the diffusing method. Thanks for all your suggestions!
I have a cup of oregano tea with candied ginger and cloves every day to help with my breathing and sinuses. It works.
Oregano oil got rid of my dog's terrible cough that he'd had for weeks and nothing I tried worked I read conflicting things about safely giving oregano oil to dogs but I put two drops in about a 1/4 cup of coconut oil and mixed in 1 tsp turmeric. Gave him 1 tsp 3x/day and the cough was completely gone by day 3. Oh, and he loved it, never had to coax him to take it. Thank you for this informative video!
I make Oregano tea and cook my beans in it in a crock over night not only for flavor but as a medication.
Oregano is a warming oil and can be too much for very sensitive skin if used straight (neat.) Heidi is very correct in suggesting dilution with a carrier oil. There is another method of use and that is applying neat and putting a carrier oil on top of skin. This is also good to remember in case of an accidental spill or splash or maybe that area of skin was more sensitive than you thought it was. If you find yourself with a warming oil in the wrong spot or didn't dilute it enough for you, DO NOT USE WATER! This will speed up the absorption and make it hotter. Apply carrier oil right on top of affected area to slow down the oregano. In an emergency, you can use any neutral oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil, anything that is nearby that will help. But please for the love of God don't use water.
Love love love oregano. I gave it to my elderly dog when she had tooth infections. In days her breath became normal and not stinky. It will give you the burps, but it's great medicine. Tt for the video. Blessings!

Hi Heidi, God is good all the time. Hallelujah.
Love my oregano! I planted some in my herb garden when we first moved out here...10 years ago...it ended up taking over the whole space, so now I have other places for my other herbs to grow 😁
You give such great and informative information!!! You inspire me! Thank you for all you do!
I have been using oregano for over 10 years when needed for medicinal purposes it’s amazing and it really works. The store I got it from in Brooklyn New York no longer has The same kind instead they gave me a bottle that was organic but it was probably made from the yellow already know it’s not a strong doesn’t work as well but it still works. My sister sent me your RUclips and now I’m so excited about growing I’m going to your other videos of medicinal herb thanks for sharing this made my day.
