My coworkers even started to notice that my once full head of hair was looking thin and damaged. I went to my doctor and my vitamin D levels were very low. Once I started taking increased levels of vitamin D, my hair grow back thicker and stronger.

The first time a client says she burning wash the relaxer out then. A client knows what they can stand. That's one of the reasons I left my stylist over 12 years leaving the relaxer on while its burning. That's why she rushed to the bowl.

My hair broke off when it was overprocessed. That was my queue to stop getting relaxers. Especially since my stylist at the time wanted me to get a touch-up on damaged hair. I told her that I wanted to let my hair grow back healthy...Long story short, I went natural
My hair also. I was putting in home relaxers and I also had a bald spot, my hair was thinning. I was doing those relaxers at home . When I realized what was going on. I took the big chop and went natural and this has been for the last 3 years. Now my hair is healthier and I take really good care of it now.

At 18 years old, going to college to be an Elementary teacher, my Sister-in-law had me sign up to substitute her 6 grade class. After 3 days, the students refuse to go to her class. The principal had to escort them to her class. He asked them why were the refusing to go to her class. They told him that I had been with them 3 days and knew all their names and Mrs Barton had been with them for 6 months and didn’t know any of there names.
Word spread and next thing I know, with only 3 months of college as an Elementary school major, I was substituting 6 through 9th graders.

I'm a hair dresser and wile in school and the clients comes in with a proublem like that what we will do is wash the hair with nutrilizing shampoo cut it and treat the hair with mendex for a week.And then the next week we will see if it could take a relaxer if not we will treat it for the next week then it should be ready for that relaxer

Beautiful hair works Crystal! I noticed that you did not base the Clients scalp nor apply protecto on the hair to prevent over processing to the already relaxed hair. Why is this? Just curious.
It's probably because her client had so much oil on her hair and scalp
you use shedding and breakage intercheangebly and its confusing because they're completely different. so if its shedding meaning the hair is coming off at the root, is it because of some type of allergy/irritation/inflammation from the coloring?
or if its breaking .. up to a certain point is it from over processing?
Yes, I agree with you. The sòlution is not adding more straightening to already damaged hair falling out. You may want to suggest that your client reach out medical professional for testing.

But I do have to say it was irritating to see all the interruptions of phone calls and disappearing acts by the host as the client is filmed sitting in a chair waiting . In my job. I try to give my customers all my attention as I am grateful to have them!
