      Didn't think about it, but that would be awesome - seeing him in a stripped-down acoustic performance. If they do, I hope he plays something out of his first album, maybe Brooklin.

    What's the guitar that looks like Danelectro tried to make a Tele?

    • @EstevanOsorio
      @EstevanOsorio 9 лет назад +1

      That's a Rick Kelly Kellycaster.

    Where is the pencil though?

    • @jdtube
      @jdtube 10 лет назад +3

      my guess is he used it to lube up the nut with the graphite to allow the strings to slide smoothly through the slots in the nut. Pretty common practice. 8^)

      You do know it's the exact opposite? To keep the strings from slipping out of tune?

    What tuning is that first song in?

    am in the only one who thinks this is extremely mediocre, uncreative and boring?

    • @yazee28
      @yazee28 10 лет назад +1

      honestly i skipped parts, but playing on a detuned e-guitar doesn't make it any better.

    • @yazee28
      @yazee28 10 лет назад +1

      ***** that's what i first thought (or hoped) but for me it didn't evolve at all. if this would be an improv it would be okay but these are actual songs, and for that i think it's extremely weak.

    • @samuelasakatz
      @samuelasakatz 10 лет назад

      Do you play guitar? Also it's tuned to an open tuning, not detuned. But yeah, it's not the best guitar ever. I mean I loved it, but to each his own.

    • @yazee28
      @yazee28 10 лет назад

      samuelasakatz i would not consider myself a guitarist because i play other instruments better, but i can play a little bit (like everybody.. ;)) and i know enough about the instrument to recognize that he uses an open tuning. that's not my point. listen closely, it is detuned!

      I guess his guitar is supposed to sound like that. It's part of his tune, even Bon Iver played on detuned guitar.
