    I love anamorphic on the FX30! I love shooting with my 35mm Remus, and I love how quickly you can get a different look moving from the FF sensor to the s35 sensors.

  • @Samvisualarts
    @Samvisualarts 15 дней назад +1

    These are so noice. I have the Remus B set for now which is serving me well for projects and gives a similar look. But I will definitely be investing in a set of these next year, really in love with Atlas' optics

    Would be interested to see if you add a little barrel to the 24-70 and do a b testing to see if viewers can tell. Kinda like what you did with the resolution.

      Love these lenses. Love the price of the 12, and has a cool look too. I have been using the mercuries on large format sensor, but putting frame lines at like 85% to live somewhere between s35 and FF and I’m liking the results!

    I bought the FX30 and one of the reasons I bought it was it had a APSC sensor. You can do a lot with full frame but also you can use a lot of unique lenses on a APSC camera

    After your very energetic 'let's get into it', I was scared and expecting an coffee intro... Like many youtubers do. But i know and Hope one day you'll do a vidéo with sole coffee shots and it's gonna be so much better than sole folks. Why, because the way you frame, shoot, explain is thé best i've ever Seen in ytb After décades of watching stuff.
    I laughed so much when you introduced the 'slo mo' shots. We never say enough goodness about your editing skills.
    One question : what was your white balance inside ?
    Second question : do you press rec/stop from sofa or do you have to stand up and sit down every Time ?
    To end up, i wish you could be a noob, like me and many other folks, and watch someone as hard working as you who is so dedicated to make smart content. Because you know that you know. But discovering any single of your vidéo - and understanding stuff, because of the way you explain - is such a thrill, I wish you could be in our shoes, because every single Time, my heart Beats so much, and my brain gets wiser. Thx Blaine.

      This may be my favorite comment so far on this RUclips journey. To answer your questions, white balance inside was like 4000. I initially wanted a cooler look, but I equalized/warmed it in post! Also, I got up each time to hit record on the camera (and swap lenses). Thanks again Hugo!

    Hey awesome thanks for this! Wondering if that's the Pyro 7 you're using, what are your thoughts on it? I experienced some latency on the Mars M1 even connected to camera directly so am curious to know whether you use it on set or what your preferred monitor and Tx / Rx setup might be?

    • @BlaineWestropp1
      @BlaineWestropp1  15 дней назад

      hey thanks! yes that is a pyro 7. I like it. I like the price. there is latency, but I use this as a walking around monitor, or a director's/client monitor so I dont mind much about the latency for those uses. I also have a cine7 that I use a lot, it's great.

      @AutoFOCUSED. 15 дней назад

      @@BlaineWestropp1agreed. I thought the latency was going to be way worse on the transmission. Only got it this week and only transmitted it to a phone via the app but the lag was minimal in quality mode. And I like the interface a lot.

    • @BlaineWestropp1
      @BlaineWestropp1  15 дней назад +2

      I like the interface as well. Also, I noticed when transmitting to a phone, the latency was very very low, I almost felt as if there was no latency, which is nice! I can see a little latency when transmitting to a monitor though. But I’m okay with it for my use case.

    • @AutoFOCUSED.
      @AutoFOCUSED. 15 дней назад

      @@BlaineWestropp1 yeah. I legit only got it to transmit to my phone so I can monitor while make lighting adjustments while away from the camera so this is perfect for me. I noticed a slight greenish cast in dark scenes in the shadows but I'm wondering if that's more my Ursa Mini Pro 12K I just got. Coming from BMPCC cameras I'm noticing the colors seem a bit different and I might not be used to it yet.

    • @CameronCalderon
      @CameronCalderon 14 дней назад +1

      @@waynosfotoscameras well it doesn’t NEED to be. 24 frames is known to emulate motion as if we were to see it in real life (do I know how they came up with it? No), pair it with 180 degree shutter, and it gives you the proper amount of blur. If it’s NOT 24 frames (60,120,240), it’s typically meant for any scenes that are more “tense” simply because we can see more detail given we have more frames. OR obvi shooting on 60 we can slow it down by 40% if on a 24 timeline. Again, there’s no rules to any of it lol that’s just what most people do from my understanding
