Phyrexians: All will be one.
Slivers: One will be all.
Man I can only hope we get a sliver vs eldrazi conflict
Slivdrazi?
it will be called “Evolution in the Void”
@@Tomagotchiify I mean hypothetically a "completed " sliver would be one thing maybe a one off gimmick we'd see in one or two cards but sliver and eldrazi fighting to expand themselves across the multiverse would be a sight to behold. as the ever expansive hivemind spreads they're bound to encounter the horrors from the blind eternities that are the eldrazi would they intermingle ? Would they ravage planes til one has total control? We may never know
I would by every card they make in that set lol
@@austinjordan7243i believe the slivers would only attack when the eldrazi devours them hive or one of the slivers
Slivers are the ultimate anime protagonists
They use the power of friendship by giving each other their abilities
So they got that Plot Armor juice going lol
@yami2828 OH no someone casted a nuke
Sliver Overlord: No need to fear! Sliver Overlord is Here!
Sliver Hivelord: Indestructible
A multiverse scale sliver infestation would be awesome as hell!
That’s what we thought about Phyrexia, and look how WotC ended that one…🤷🏻♂️
That wasnt phyrexias fault though.
Yeah I don't see them using the Slivers as a multiversal threat but I could definitely see the Omenpaths leading to Sliver infestations on other worlds and a set or two that deals with that on a smaller scale.
Yeah. If it weren't for phyrexia I could see it, but it would basically be the same thing all over again
@@kylefreeburg9353Not even close.
Phyrexia was a tactical threat, infiltrating societies and setting up a big master plan.
If the Slivers took the omenpaths, itd be a chaotic onslaught as quick as the Phyrexian invasion started without all the planning and build up on both sides: one or two bugs, then just an immediate all out assault against anything they can evolve to compete against.
@@kylefreeburg9353they are quite different than phryexian! But we get your point.
I think it could be done in a different way. Since they dont seek perfection, what would be their purpose? They could evolve way past conquest and control and have purpose outside normal thinking with a high level hivemind. They could become super conscious
I would love to see how Slivers behave on Ikoria
I know right? Just imagine mutating slivers onto each other! Maybe having a Sliver that turns the creature on top of the pile into a Sliver in addition to its other types? That way the Scute Stampede and Paradise Druid Mutation combos can be even more excitingly powerful!🎉😅
This is why slivers in MOM would’ve been perfect
I'm sad we didn't get slivers vs. Phyrexians where the slivers adapt too quick for completion or the two hiveminds competing and causing chaos.
The Slivers are what the Phyrexians claim to be striving for. Elisha Nore would have been almost unstoppable if she had control of them. A Sliver Prator would have been cool
@@pikeman777Elisha Nore 😂
On one hand, yes. On the other....oh Fck nah
That’s sounds cool. Maybe some of the younger ones giving Slivers the Phyrexian trait to proliferate or toxicity of their venom
@@user-mf4lw9wy4e toxic sliver, infect sliver, proliferating sliver, incubate sliver, phyrexian mana sliver, so many opportunities
I played a commander game with Ovidio Cartagena during the Magic Con Cartagena, with us were Johannes voss and Maxime Minard, Maxime played a Lazotep Sliver which is a card he made the art for and then i asked Ovidio what is a sliver doing in Amonketh, he told me it was confidential information. I thought at teh time that maybe he didnt have a answer for but now with the omen path and all mayber theres will be some sliver related plots in the future.
Between Phyrexians eldrazi and slivers, wotc seems really fond of hive mind villains
you forgot the Mycotirant…
We'd need more individuality (ironically) if we would have them as main villains. Maybe sliver factions evolving separate from another. Maybe instead of color, they each have different key words to help separate them.
The Flood worked pretty well.
I think Slivers should be used in story plot as an ally or a savior of the planes. Kinda like the rachni if you let the queen live and free her.
They were used as a tool in planar chaos
My favorite tribe is the slivers I’d love to see more of them. And also I’d love to see a sliver plans walker that gives all slivers a loyalty ability at the cost of power toughness for fairness.
I remember your old Sliver Halloween video. This one is just as good, thank you for making these videos during Spooky season!
My question is if the slivers do appear. Is there a planewalker with hive mind capabilities out there one with vast telekinetic power that was recently completed and sent off on an unknown mission be Elesh Non? What if Jace finds the horde?
10:51 imagine if we get like a Sliver Ambassador or something, a individual member that speaks for the hive that might seek aid from the people of Dominaria due to something with the Omenpath disrupting them... They could probably take care of it, themselve... Themselves... How ever you want to word it, but it be neat to have like this neutral hive mind doing stuff that isn't mindless slaughter or war with no reason
Finally something to actually instill fear. Let's hope the omenpaths don't make way for their hive
I firmly believe that Slivers could - slowly at first, then swiftly - propagate across the known worlds until a larger hive forms. The Skep of Shandilar shows that they CAN be relatively passive, if left alone, but I doubt that WotC would incorporate them WELL into a story, regardless of how they're used.
I love this new updated story I join your channel in 2015 And I can't tell you how many times I would just play your videos. And just wanted more
I think the Weaver King is something not a lot of people focus on. It was proven that a human could take the place of a queen for a sliver skep. That means someone with the knowledge and the motivation could forcefully take control slivers and use them as an army. It's a bit of a pipe dream but I really do hope we get slivers back in the main story in some way.
A war of the Slivers would be an amazing thing like a block set that would be the Gravemother vs the free minded Legion that accidently drags the entire multiverse into the war thanks to the Omenpaths
Further expanding on the omenpaths, The Raven Man… Lim Dúl. He was previously able to appear to Liliana as visions across planes, do you think we can expect a DCeast or Blackest Night level event in MTG were undead from every plane are risen and attack the multiverse? I’d love to see a “What if” where Varina, Lich Queen joins forces with The Raven Man to go after the Chain Veil
I was not aware of the origins of slivers! Seiben, you're the greatest!
Can you do Braid's. She was brought back but had such a small part on her return. She has to have a major upcoming part. She could even become a plainswalker or use the paths to go to different worlds as the Cabal would do. If Ashiok found her they would be very interested in each other. Braid's can be a great video. There is so much that can be discussed.
You made a good point with different minded slivers. 1 group relying on a queen and another group minded. What happens when they possibly travel the omenpaths and possibly conflict? Multiversal war not for the control of the planes but supremesy between the 2. Everyone else just caught in the middle
Great video. Im still holding out that we see some future plane where the Slivers have absolutely taken over or where they have adapted to the Oil.
Think if wotc would embrace an 'alternate timelines' team that could be a branch of the Universes Beyond that there is so much they could do with that.
Can you do Marit Lage please? Also, since you speak to Wotc, maybe you can mention having her come back lol. I thought it would be cool if she takes over the Eldarzis duties. Maybe takes it too far and Emrakul has to be let free to fight her. The story with Ugin trying to figure out what the Eldrazi were for has never been completed.
How about Grist? We have a Hivemind-Planeswalker...what if they joined the Hive somehow? That could offer a new take on the Hivemind-Army.
Hmm well Grist is and controls insects. I think Slivers are something that transcends insects. But I’m not too sure…
Slivers have been around for along time it would be interesting to see them take a more active role
I love slivers and I loves tis video. Slivers travailing the multiverse seems like a good story.
I've always felt there was a connection between Slivers and Eldrazi. Eldrazi are muliplanar after all and they could have had some sort of influence on the Sliver's creation. Keep in mind, we only know a few "real" Eldrazi; there could easily be others we don't know about...yet. Maybe without this unseen Eldrazi's influence it's drones adapted and evolved their own hivemind and autonomy.
Frankly I just want more slivers in general. I guess though I feel a sliver that acted like a krenko would be ideal. Usually slivers have really good effects that tie to sacrificing a creature/sliver. The problem is that many slivers also hold important keywords/effects, that, by removing them it hurts your board. At least with a token generator that’s as easy as a krenko for making goblins but with slivers you can keep up a tempo of shared effects while also helping save many effects from being lost from large removal/board wipe spells.
I want them to make a sliver card that gives all slivers "This permanent card can not be exiled while on the battlefield" as after all they already gave them indestructible and shroud and also ignoring the Legend Rule. Hell my uncle was surprised when they printed Hivelord as he said giving Slivers indestructible was never going to happen as it would be too broken since they already had shroud
Eldrazi vs slivers, with Bolas and Ugin in the mix. I fully believe they will bring bolas back at somepoint, and if they only have 1 plabeswalker per set then they could have bolas and Ugin fuse somehow into one elder dragon planeswalker (Nicol Ugin? Whatever Bolas's original name was before he gave himself a new one) They could also canonize the Slivdrazi Monstrosity.
So if the Gravemother was considered the head of the hive, what was the card the Sliver Queen?
Gravemother was a name given to a specific queen.
The Sliver Queen is the queen Volrath basically kidnapped and brought to Rath. As she was the only queen on Rath, she gets the title "The Sliver Queen" undisputed.
I would love to see an in universe feeling of the Tyranids with the slivers
I think Zendikar is the best returning plane for Slivers and for a new world, the best place is Garuk's home world. We do know that there is a hive on Shandalar as well.
I hope there’s new slivers in MH3, honestly wish we got some kinda slivers vs phyrexian card or even moment in March of the Machine cause they’re almost perfect parallels. Machines that perfect flesh vs Flesh that perfects itself. Guess the best we can hope for is Eldrazi Vs Slivers
I like this content. This has been nice
Would donate to see a full lore of alara and its shards.
I'd like to join the Sliver, I would enjoy that Eldredge Bliss.
Freyalise said that if she had put her mind to it, she thought she could have bent the Slivers to her will. So in theory, a planeswalker could gain some control over a swarm without a strong leader. If only there was a planeswalker that specialized in entering a plane and taking total control of a swarm of creatures to do its bidding amd feed. Oh wait, didn't I just see a video on Grist the other day? Maybe she could do it. Perhaps not on Dominaria, but maybe she could wrest control of a smaller hive elsewhere and set up shop.
I bet the legion will try to migrate the dominaria slivers to a plane that doesn't have so many apocalypses, the grave mother was reactionary but the shandalar enclaves have shown that when not threatened slivers can develop into social creatures with some drones gaining autonomy. Sliver infestation doesn't really happen unless stupid wizards clone a bunch of drones, otherwise there is at least one unifying force controlling any given group and enacting a calculated plan the big problem with the omenpath will be which one is in charge, and it will probably be a more socially developed hive that doesn't give benefits to slivers outside the hive
i predicted them coming back, along with the eldrazi!
Maldhound: it's like they get the power of friendship and you don't get to use it!
Would love a new Sliver set
I still want to see a phyrexian/eldrazi sliver!
Where did the lazotep sliver come from?
Ooo what about sliver eldrazis!
And later as a random thing evolv so thay have there on capability to creat there own omenpath after segling there first one
Yeah I would personally like to see the Great Slivers War what will happen when two ever evolving ever adapting forces go up against each other every time meeting a challenge with a solution and then another solution from the other side at infinitum and what will we end up with in the end what is the ultimate solution the ultimate sliver.
but also I would like to see how Slivers react to Ikoria a adapting Force on a adapting plane.
You mean another Sliver Overlord?
I so want a sliver planeswalker perhaps born in a similar lab on Ravnica by a scientist experimenting with a spark they may of captured from the war of the spark
I love Slivers it was good to hear more about them.
God damn SLIVERS GIATTTAAAAA
Who would win: the slivers that conquered death or the dinos of ixalan that resisted even phyrexis? or could the omenpaths lead to a hybriditazion of both to give us the true apex predator?
I want a five color sliver planeswalker so bad that has a static ability! What do you think it's abilities would be?
"all slivers are slivers"
Probably giving slivers unique abilities for a turn, creating sliver tokens, maybe having a loyalty equal to the number of slivers you control
Casting cost: WUBRG
Starting loyalty 3
Static ability: You cannot cast sliver spells
+2: create a 1/1 colorless Sliver token for each opponent you have
-3: reveal the top 3 cards of your library. You may put a Sliver permanent from among them onto the battlefield with mana value less than or equal to the number of Slivers you control. Put the rest on the bottom of your library.
-9: You get an emblem with "All creatures are Slivers." Gain control of all Slivers until end of turn.
@EclipseWarlord i rather have an emblem which keeps the statoc abilities of slivers even when removed
@@EclipseWarlord Might as well just make it a Epic spell making you not able to cast any spells after casting the walker
I want to see Slivers vs. Eldrazi vs. Phyrexians ^_~★ or all of them combined into one ^_~★
Me quietly hoping that a single drop of Phyrexian oil remains and that a Silver finds it...
I have all the Slivers! they are all foiled out
So, just to be clear, the Phyrexians were a hive mind, the eldrazi are mindless mana consumptions that are control by each titan--like a hivemind. And Slivers are a hiveminds. Which means that Bolas is the only real big bad in modern MTG that wasn't really a hive monster.
Plot twist: Slivers/The Legion save the day in the next big multiverse war instead of being villains
Realistically, I can't see them making Slivers a big part of a set's story. There's already so many of them and making more means doubling down on some of their already done concepts.
Giving slivers more abilities would end up making the decks crazy.
And I used to main one, so it's not even that I dislike slivers lol
Maybe there is a Sliver Queen out there in the multiverse somewhere. Maybe it is evil. Slivers are a threat but without a Queen they’re just an adaptive animal trying to survive where they are. Maybe the next villain will try to use them.
Was a damn travesty that we didn't get a chapter og phyrexians invading a sliver-infested plane and having an evolution battle. Instead we had the Ikoria chapter
Tezzeret with Darksteel Slivers?
Is not invasion if you find oil.
Given the last crisis the multiverse just went through, I think it'd be harder to find a place without oil. But it's probably nothing.
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I cool would a sliver planeswalker be? Also could you imagine the ripple effect it would have if just one sliver ignited a planeswalker spark?! Picture this…in an instant, hundreds, thousands no billions upon billions of slivers suddenly gaining the ability to planeswalk?…
Lalalala *plop*
What the F- *Dies*
I can imagine something like Overlord doing it as it is the Ultimate Sliver since all of the Slivers that survived Korona the False God mutated into one. Like if you ask me it is a more advanced stage than Sliver Legion who is just a sentient hive
I really hope they don't return to old villains for a very long time. I feel like the last "new" big villain was the eldrazi. After that it was back to bolas and after that it was back to phyrexians. I just want new weird shit. And maybe smaller scale stories? Each plane should have its own little rogues gallery.
My AI takes LSD:
## Sliver Invasion: Chaos, Cooperation, and Unexpected Allies
**Slivers vs. Multiverse:**
* A Sliver invasion wouldn't be like Phyrexia's organized attack or Eldrazi's predictable hunger. It would be a chaotic, ever-shifting tide, driven by collective adaptation and a Queen's potential sentience.
**Facing the Threat:**
* Planeswalkers would need to unite diverse forces and embrace unpredictable tactics.
* Understanding the hive mind, even cooperating, might be key to survival or even coexistence.
**Beyond Fear:**
* Norn's downfall and Emrakul's self-imprisonment suggest even destructive entities might have hidden depths.
* Listening and learning from the slivers, even the Eldrazi, could lead to unexpected insights.
**A Chance to Evolve:**
* Sliver ingenuity could be harnessed for good, pushing the boundaries of magic and understanding.
* By opening our minds and hearts, we might discover a future where cooperation transcends fear and prejudice.
**The Gamble:**
* Trusting the untrustworthy, listening to the voiceless, is a risky bet.
* But the potential rewards - understanding, progress, a united multiverse - are worth the gamble.
**The Unspoken:**
* Perhaps the slivers are not just a threat, but a mirror, forcing us to confront our own limitations and embrace the unknown.
* Maybe we can learn from their chaotic dance and evolve alongside them, becoming something more than we ever thought possible.
**In a nutshell, a Sliver invasion would be a chaotic, unpredictable dance on the razor's edge of extinction. But amidst the fear and danger, there's a sliver of hope: the potential for cooperation, evolution, and a future where even the most unlikely allies can find common ground. Are we brave enough to listen?**
Yes, I also thought the pun was punny
Aaaaaaand I revoke my offer.
The slivers deserve there own set.
Imagine if Phyrexians and Slivers were to merge and fuse together, the multiverse would be in some very deep kind of trouble! 😳
There are a couple of scenarios: if the hive-mind ability of Slivers is lost with phyresis, Phyrexians would not have impactful strategical advantage.
But if the hive-mind ability is preserved, Phyrexians would be truly hive-minded and almost unstoppable at that point.
Would be cool but wizards recently confirmed that the Pyrexians exterminated all the slivers on dominaria. Not sure how you missed that little fact
Man I hope so
So with omen paths now just everywhere ... Isn't this like a nightmare scenario? I see slivers as much of a threat as eldrazi if given the chance to move through the multiverse
sorry worc ain't gonna put that much thought into their story
Jace is still missing all I got to say
I want a sliver walker.
With a seat and storage compartment or just a simple walker to get around? 😉
Wish we got Phyrexian slivers
arant slivers relatede to phyrexia?
I just want a named sliver with the simple title "of Dominaria"
Sorin vs eldrazi and slivers!!!!
Phyrexian + Sliver = ultimate hive mind 😮
Makes sense to me for a re-re invasion of Dominaria
Five stars for pronouncing macabre correctly.
Riptide is Dominaria's inGen
They want to revive their queen. If they become selfaware and decide to take over all; sheeesh! Emrakul better shake a tentacle!
They have no want nor need to leave their plane... as the queen watched the walkers come/go without a cre
Well it sounds like the slivers could become a tyranid level threat
Sliver vs sliver sounds interesting storywise, while being too bland designwise. Doubt we will see it. Maybe we encounter the remnants of the plane of origin tho.
No self offense, but I love your content. I really need to tell you this I think that the actual new saw verse you’re talking about is something that you are not thinking about they may cause damage in domineering or they will remove themselves to universe beyond. I’m just saying in theory, it’s funny sample packs after sample packs are giving out but if you think about it logically they’re really trying to hit the nose about Doctor Who Warhammer fallout is so many other universe beyond even though the rinks so if you think about it logically what if this new idea you have or the idea that they’re bringing they’re not logically going to dominate area to not conquer it, but to go to the universe beyond this would not only be a awesome way, but it also gives leeway to other players, like myself, who does not want to just play Doctor Who Warhammer or even fall out, but mix them all together and make our own multi universe like magic. The gathering say make up your own story for me I think it’s just logical that they would use the universe beyond not this universe multi-universe I mean thank you for hearing me out but if you think this is not the case, then it kind of sucks but it would be better because they are already done with the Multiverse really by this point now after Doing March of the machines in the wise of the machines I don’t really see why they keep on doing the multi universe anymore. It’s like beating a dead horse. It’s even know most important if they just move on with it and just use universe beyond as a launching point of a new magic the gathering story driven narrative
No offense, but if you want someone to actually read that and have a chance of following it, use grammar and punctuation marks. It takes longer, yet has a chance of sounding coherent.
Karn is literally the Optimus prime of mtg.
both are owned by hasbro... the possibilities...
@@Jugulator Now I’m curious…What would happen if Optimus met Karn?
@@Jugulator To be honest I think only g1 Optimus prime or the idw version himself could do better.
Phyrexianized Slivers, where the philosophy matches the biology.
I would like to see a Sliver become a Planeswalker and save the multiverse from a Phyrexian Eldrazi titan ^_~★
For some reason every time I see a sliver, I think of cryptolith rite
pherexia was able to manipulate those with a spark, wizards, when are we getting a sliver that adapts to have a planeswalker spark?!
As long as i get more slivers
Red slivers vs black slivers
Imagine Slivers controlled by Emrakrul Hemakrul shemakrul silmakrul
Based on the upcominging sets im not sure there's going to be a cool thing like this.
The upcoming sets, although they do look pretty awesome, just dont look like they have a huge threat like this
If Hasbro shareholders want it to happen, it'll happen.
So what I learned is that ai are real slivers
If these happend the Overlord will rise up to at least 150$ haha WE NEED A REPRINT!!!
Originally all the slivers were one slivers god then it spilt into multiple or slivers of its original form id like to see the og slivers make him like emukrul and a sliver planeswalker wuburg ir like kenrith where u pay one blue all slivers gain flying also xould be called sliver king lol and make sliver monstrosity cannon print in dammit i want it lol long live the hive nerds
Multi-planar Sliver civil wars anyone?
