Saw Kane when I was a kid in Kakuranger. He was my favorite one and I still love that show almost 30 years later. Because of those tokusatsu shows that I watched as a kid I started practicing martial arts and I still do. Thanks to that I competed, went to college, moved to a different country and still practicing and working with what I love. Kane is one of the reasons why I started and I’m pretty sure he influenced many other kids around the globe to be like him!

Very hard these days to break through as a martial artist actor. Kane has some serious skills and a great face with decent acting skills. He's certainly faster than his father and better in all aspects, but his father had charisma and the opportunity of a century. He came up with the ninja stuff just at the right time.

Kane Kosugi seems like a very down-to-earth guy: very humble and low-key. But when you see him move; you realize that he's seriously a badass!!! Loved his fight with Scott in Ninja 2; as well as his childhood roles, such as in Revenge of the Ninja!

Adkins is really good at doing these interviews, and his understanding of fighting is great. Kosugi is underrated as well, both should get the biggest roles.

I had the same exact moment when I had the luxury to meet Aaron Gassor (Gingerninja trickster) for one of his seminars here in Michigan and we were just going over a side kick and he kicked me ever so slightly but in my head all I could think was "OMG HE JUST KICKED ME ILL NEVER WASH THIS UNIFORM." an amazing experience and hopefully someday I get to meet with you as well Mr. Adkins. It's interesting and clever that Kane took inspiration from dancing and even more notable; videogames. Most would be happy to land a good combo in a game, he thought 'let's see how much I can do for real'.
It's impressive how extensive how Kosgui's career after Kakuranger was (for those who don't know, he was Ninja Black aka the black ranger in the 1994 series that would be adapted in the US as Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers). I've been checking out his fight scenes throughout his career and it's amazing! Also really cool how he's one of the few sentai rangers to speak english fluently and is American in what is 99% native Japanese actors.

I just realized Scott Adkins was a king and villain in a Hercules movie 🎥. He pops up every where in all types of rolls and characters.
