Niki I would love it if you would cover how to look for good quality, especially since shopping online is so popular now. Do you look at the materials, do you shop based on materials and material blends, and what kind of materials would you recommend when shopping for pieces, especially online shopping?
I love Diana's idea. I try to stick to natural fibres and stay away from polyester but for some styles there are no other options with my budget. Any tip like this would be great
It's confirmed, americans and canadians have a different zara. Zara is cheapo and bad quality here and as a fashion student I want to slap anyone who claims it is high quality.
Here (Poland) it is definitely not the cheapest, but on the affordable side. I agree, most of the clothes are 'meh' or bad quality, but some collections or items are on point. I have halter tops that Niki has and these are amazing. I also really like suits - they have straight hems, good materials, if there is a pattern it matches on the hem - its unique for a chain store. Also, black jeans from Zara stay black forever (at least 2 pairs I had, they were from one of the basic lines). In comparison to other chain stores Zara has some really good pieces.

Agreed on all points but mostly sunglasses. They are an accessory that can change and elevate your look. I used by buy cheap ones but almost always broke or lost them. Now that ive invested in a price more classic pair i take better care of them plus they were prescription.

I can’t wear sneakers with a meshed toe box because my big toes point upward and after wearing them over time a hole would start to form. I stick to sneakers that are made with regular/sturdy materials
I have the same problem until a salesperson told me to put a piece of duct tape inside the top of the sneaker where it wears out. I have to replace the duct tape every few months but it works!

Sneakers should be replaced regularly. My understanding is that they are designed to wear out fairly quickly so you know when to replace them. They don’t provide proper foot support after a while. It’s fine to use older sneakers for walking and light exercise, but if you run or anything your shoes really should be replaced regularly.

Hi Niki. I follow you for many years on RUclips. Generally I like your style and l do agree with you on many levels. I think that you look fabulous and we can put a bin bag on you and you will look good, but you can’t talk about good investment if the item doesn’t do your body a favor. I’m sorry to tell you ( and maybe it’s just my opinion) but your beige jacket looks boxy on you ( because of the pockets) and sleeves are too short- not good investment. But I still do love your videos. 😉

@@IfElieSaysSo I am Belgian. In Europe, zara is shitty. In the US and Canada it apparently is not.
I think it’s similar to Forever 21 but they are overpriced. I don’t like Zara clothing. I shop designers on MEGA SALE!

I'm pretty sure your skin tone is cooler. Try using more silver than gold and cool tones. They would look amazing on you.
