Oh, how I loved the production on country records in the 1980s and 90s (especially the work of Richard Bennett, Barry Beckett, Rick Hall and Steve Gibson). They frequently added rock guitar solos to their country songs, and they always sounded great!

I think the production on this particular song was exquisite! I admit to being a little biased in that yours truly is singing The High part on the harmonies to no more one more time...... Ashley Cleveland on the bottom part with solos at the end, first.... so sorry to hear of the loss of Joel just now.....
