I'm not gonna lie. When I heard you got a divorce, I was absolutely terrified that you were going to hurt yourself, it really scared me. I really honestly believe you're one of the toughest people I've ever seen. To have survived what you have? To go through all of that? That requires strength. You're far more than what you see in the mirror.
Kyle Lambert thank you Kyle. For a while I was scared too. Scared u would hurt myself. Not permanently but... maybe screw up my weight loss. Of quit youtube. Thanks to fans like you though I managed to stay strong. I appreciate the love and support.
Noscamaroz28 You are the poster child for ignorance. No tax money went in to Boogie's surgery. You're just a sad hateful little person. Try some meditation. You may be able to locate that little part of you that has empathy and sympathy, and not jump to such dispicable ASSumptions about someone you CLEARLY do not follow.
Boogie is the perfect example on what NOT to do during a divorce but since Boogie is so damn brave he rather speak out to help others. Few YTbers think this much on their subscribers. Gotta love it.
Yea once the divorce is over all ties should be cut with the woman. If there were kids involved it would be a different story, but in this case he should say "bitch lose my phone number"
My divorce was in 1992, we didn't have social media. My ex slept around and was a drug addict, left me for a drug dealer who cut her off the freebies and turned her into a mule as soon as the divorce was final. She had it comin', I couldn't sign the divorce papers fast enough.
Rainbow Dash It happens alot. Working in healthcare you hear about it more. It ends up being a large scale change for all involved and your spouse may not want the change or psych/thoughts come into play.
I haven’t watched him since he started this journey, it’s like when JonTron got thin all over again. It’s so strange seeing Boogie with narrow shoulders & no visible extended chin. That & his face is much more deflated. It’s almost like an uncanny valley version of the RUclipsr, something is *off* about them. Which is great in this case!
Despite being a younger viewer than most, I'm still fully aware that this relationship meant a lot to you. Seeing the notification of the video where you revealed this really made me feel upset for you and I was worrying about your future. But your attitude towards this situation is one of many reasons I look up to you Boogie. Thank you for all you've taught to me and millions of others.
I needed this. I’m not experiencing a divorce, but I am experiencing a break up. I understand it’s comparatively less severe than a divorce in a lot of ways, but it still a difficult time. Thank you for this! There’s a few useful channels I’ve been rewatching for new perspectives, like Elliot Hulse. Great video
As a divorced man, I'd like to offer some counter-advice to one of Boogie's statements: Exercise EXTREME caution if you decide to attempt to be friends with your ex. I made that attempt and it went well for about 6 months. Then she started asking me for monetary assistance. As a friend I tried helping her -- and she wound up screwing me out of around $1000. It was the second-worst mistake I'd ever made in my life (the worst having married her in the first place,) and as such, I am now in a position to offer this advice to anyone wanting to remain friends with your ex: DON'T! When you break up, break up completely. Anything less than that will find you in a very bad position -- perhaps not today...maybe not even tomorrow, but it will happen eventually....
Hey everyone’s different, let me just say my grandparents have been divorced for up to over 45 years but they tend to get along great. As in they love each other like they’re family but not romantically, and there’s no manipulation to it at all.
Honestly the biggest piece of advice I wish I had was don’t delete/throw away all the pictures. I spent 90% of Jr. high and high school in 2 serious relationships (different times obviously). But when we broke up I just deleted everything that had to do with the girls. Now I have basically no pictures of me from that period of my life so that sucks. And now I can see that each relationship brought me to where I am now in my life and it’s something I should be able to look back on and appreciate the happy times we had.
As a 23 year old male, never married. This advice really spoke to me, its in general a great way to live the short and precious life we have. If you have ANYTHING bringing you down in life, boogie's advice here is gold.
lol and people my age are rushing to get married and crap out kids when they will be divorced in 5-10 years. its idiotic to get married or pregnant in your 20s
I’m so happy for you man, I was in a dark place to and you are an inspiration to me. You had a horrible life but you made yourself better from it and you didn’t let your past hold you back from just living your life. I’m so happy you’re in a good place and you’re looking healthy. Much love man
It makes me have happy tears seeing the passion you have to help other people with your advice, and the passion you have about all the positive steps you've taken through this. You're awesome Boogie!
You are right. I am a widower and not a divorcee. I need a responsible and God fearing woman. If you are single, please message me. We both deserve love and happiness again.
Thank you for your thoughts! The advice you give about holding onto some belongings with shared memories and storing them away for another day is really nice. Our hearing was two days before my birthday and I had requested the divorce the day after her birthday. This has been scarier than the first few moments of boot camp, more surreal than the wedding, far more sad than a family member dying. I'm so happy you are pulling through and exploring more of the world than you have lately and I'm rooting for you! Keep it up and thank you for being such a supporting figure in the lives of so many others.
I love you boogie you've definitely gotta a lot of strength and I'm super proud of how far you've come. I've been watching your videos since I was in 8th grade. I'm a high school graduate and you've been with me the whole way. Stay awesome man and you're looking great!
You are the best. Thank you for trying to help people, while also helping yourself. You inspire me, and many others. Never stop never stopping. Thank you, Boogie.
I want to thank you for being so open through this period Boogie. A couple years ago, you and a few others gave me the inspiration I needed to lose around 200 lbs, make some friends, start living life. Then, 6 months ago, my mom died. Had a fairly similar relationship as you did with your mom. It wrecked me. I returned to never leaving my house, eating terribly, just giving up. Every video you've done talking about this has helped me so much. I'm getting things back on track again. Love you, Boogie. :)
Glad you're doing good boogie. You have a strong soul. I'm going through a break and I know that's nothing near a divorce but it's still not fun. Love when you give some real life advice.
Your videos are genuine and I can feel the honesty in your words, I went to separation some time ago and I know first hand how difficult it can be. Thanks for the reminder that things will stop hurting after a while. Keep your videos coming. Thank you.
My parents divorced when I was 4, and it’s totally normal for me. Throughout middle school and high school I’ve helped My friends with there parents divorce. I was lucky that my parents chose to live 3 miles away for the sake of 4 year old me.
Yeah my parents got divorced when I was about 7. They remarried and seem much happier though. I think it's tough but definitely a much better option than staying in a "toxic" relationship (not suggesting Boogie's was necessarily toxic), especially if children are involved.
EDIT_IN_GAMING 123 it’s actually kinda... nice. I’m very lucky in the way that I spend my time 50/50, I have 2 sets of parents and they are very nice to each other, and they live 30 min car ride away. And they have always lived in the same city
I don't think it's that bad when parents get divorced when you are young. There aren't that many memories of them to together so what will you be sad about? Much less when you still get to see both of them still. It seems worse when they get divorced when the kids are much older. There are more memories of them together. That's why when someone say's "my parents divorced when i was 5-6 " and try to make it seem like a traumatic thing it just doesn't make sense. Even if it was, like a lot of fighting and stuff, the kids or teens are usually happy that they got divorced to stop all the fighting.
TrueToCaesar 60% of my classmathes from highschool came from a broken family. And me and parents did divorce when i was 10.. So this with divorce is quite normak for me to hear about.
I empathise the trials you are going thru. I with you the very best. Kudos for the wisdom you are trying to share. Keep healing and doing all the self care. You're rockin' it!
You are rightam a widower and not a divorcee. I need a responsible and God fearing woman. If you are not taken, please message me. We both deserve love and happiness again.
Something that will also help is to begin referring to your wife as your 'EX'. She's no longer your wife. Either call her by name or you just say your 'ex'.
The people that say that Dez "took boogie for everything", she deserved what she got. Boogie said himself that he would probably be dead or on his way there if it wasn't for her. What is money when you owe someone your life? she got with him when he was broke, drove him to make his channel what it is today, and was the only reason he ever went to any events. She put in her time, it didn't pan out so they split and she got her share of a business that probably wouldn't exist without her. Boogie got the house and most importantly Sammy. He made out alright :)
RebelRun 613 that time is not worth what she got also boogie would have went big even if he never met her. You are just giving excuses for people to get money they don't deserve
Well i guess Boogie would be the definitive answer on at least what he believes she deserves. The courts might have a different opinion. A little presumptuous to assume Boogie would of pushed the channel like he has without Dezs help, especially when it was Boogie who made the statement to the contrary. Does a stay at home mom deserve half if her and her husband get divorced? The answer is fucking YES
I'm not saying if it was right or wrong. I don't know the details. but saying she deserved it, he owe her his life. Do i get to break a mans legs if i drag him out of a burning car first? There is no reason to take more than what is deemed fair for both parties. You dont get to run over people just because they might have been depending on you. Again I'm not saying anything about boogies x but he shouldn't let himself get screwed over just because he feels like he owes her. If she taking as much as she did (still no clue) was mutually agreed upon, then more power to you guys
My best advice. Buy a cool model kit, buy paint and tools, sit down and listen to some nice podcasts. And talk, talk, talk about it with people you trust and like.
I’m curently going through a breakup right now , we lasted 2 years toghether but now I feel like we’re just better appart from one and other and It’s very helpful and healing to watch your videos and seeing you get better , keep it up boogs you’re a hero to me and you’ve been for years.
A recommendation I heard about divorce that sounded very reasonable for me was DO NOT BE FRIENDS WITH YOUR EX. Not out of spite but because you have a history together and having friendly contact will inevitably overlap with the act of courting. I looked it up, it's from a video called "Can Exes Be Friends?" Very eye-opening.
Alejandro Mer unfortunately it's not that easy when you have kids involved. Your children love both of their parents. They don't deserve to see the two people they love the most spitting venom whenever they meet up.
If you have a kid, the parents should be friends after a divorce. Not friends like coming over for dinner, but just being able to talk for a few minutes helps. Otherwise how are they taking care of the kids, if the parents can't talk to each other? You're advice is WRONG and DANGEROUS! 🚨🚨🚨
Being friends with an ex is definitely not for everyone. Both people have to agree that getting back together would be stupid. They also can't be jealous of each other. If you aren't okay with seeing your ex with someone else, and/or can't be nice to your ex's new partner, don't try to be friends with your ex. My ex dumped me about a year ago. We go to the same dance class every week, and she usually brings the guy she is seeing there. She is still part of the group of friends I've invited over next weekend. So being friends with your ex works, as long as courting is out of the question.
when you have sex with someone and it ends it is impossible to deal with that person without something happening in the bed again. Even people that hate each other do it. If you want a relationship with someone and you have an ex, don't ever let her get close. Just like those bitches saying that they have lots of friends that were boyfriends, yup, they all want the dick sometime somewhere somehow, it is impossible. Fuck, even when you hate someone and you never see that person for years and that person comes again the only thing you think is sex and not anger. I've seen it all, I never took a chance, that is why I'm working it out without problems besides the rare unknown number texting hi, that is easy to block and delete.
Recently I finished college for the year and I'm able to catch up on my favorite RUclipsrs and all I've got to say is WOW! It's incredible to see how far you've come boogie. You're looking very healthy and happy and I know it's not much coming from a random guy on the internet but I'm really proud of you. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Boogie. I'm not married, but this is good advice even for just a break up, or any kind of loss. You're a good man. Stay strong and thanks for keeping us entertained! Love ya!
I’ve always found the best way to get over someone is to make memories with someone else. Not necessarily a romantic partner, but old/new friends are a good starting point. That phrase “the best way to get over him is to get under someone else” may not be 100% the best way to go about it, but the principle behind it is. Thank you for opening up and sharing your experience Boogie, I know a LOT of us are so incredibly thankful to you for this. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
such is life it's not easy being lonely alone without the person you love, but life goes on, I lost my wife 3yrs ago, I understand how you feel, I'd love to talk to you more if you don't mind, it'd be nice if you just say hi here is my number +1206-237-2054 😇
I can agree with most of what you said here. I've been through divorce however mine was complicated and messy but ONLY because of Kids. I think folks who get divorced without Children the process is completely different. The reality is either way, divorce in all rational a Mourning process, it's a loss for everyone involved. The only thing I would add to what you had to say Boogs is DO NOT go out and jump in another relationship, I see this time and time again. My ex did it, I have friends that do it. It's always the same story, a chaotic mess of no feelings ever getting sorted out and getting back to a good mental and emotional state. For me, swallowing my pride and actually talking to people was the hardest thing. I still don't talk openly about my divorce, I only speak of it in terms of the impacts it has with my daughter since my YT channel is heavily based around the life of a single Dad. outside of that, I rarely if ever speak of my Ex Wife.
Boogie, this is a fantastic video. I recently went through a bad breakup and while I know that is not even close to the same thing as going through a divorce, I think everything you say here can absolutely be applied to any breakup or separation situation. You are the man!
Hey Man! I went through a divorce almost a decade ago. Happily re-married now ... and now I know what a healthy marriage is supposed to be like! I think if I were to give one line of advice to someone going through it, I would quote Dr. Phil. “Somebody has to be the adult in the situation.” Be an adult about it.
I divorced Sony a long time ago for No Man's Sky. No more pre-order marriages for me. You are handling divorce quite maturely, some couples get vindictive and immature and petty and manipulative, especially when young children are involved.
I divorced with pre orders after assassins creed unity, I’ve been having a great few years with indies and low budget games like stardew and gone home, but recently I decided to get back to a proper relationship, and I recently pre ordered the Spider-Man collectors edition, since I fell in love with them way too fast
Boogie you have no idea how much this video help me! I’m in the end stages of a horrific divorce process and seeing this video has given me inspiration that it’s gonna be okay. In the past 4 months I’ve really had a hard journey, I’ve really learn to re-discover myself and my soon to be ex-wife is not making it easy based on how we’re acting so therapy has helped that I really hope to be way better in the future once I’m 6 months to a year in and I thank you for putting out this video!
I love every one of your vids man! Whether it be your rambling series, unboxing vids, and funny moments, I always look forward watching you, Boogie. Looking good as always and I hope to meet you in person one day and give you a big hug.
I love this video. My husband has lymphedema as well so we feel your concerns, man. He loves your motivation to do better. We wish you nothing but the best!❤
your such an inspierational person, your on the other side of a divorce helping others and this comment section is full of people youve done just that for, be proud of yourself man.
Once you have kids though, a lot of this becomes much more complicated. You can't just throw away kids, or the stuff they love that may remind you of marriage. You may not really be able to get out and make new friends if you're taking care of kids. You're going to have to see each other frequently if you have kids. It complicates the entire situation.
You make a sound point however, there are ways to still follow his advice. If you have kids you will need to rely on Friends and Family even more. Ask your parents or siblings if they don't mind taking care of the kids for a few hours so you can have some time with friends to clear your head. Make new memories by taking the kids to an amusement park, a play, movies, picnic, hiking, bike riding, etc. When you are around your Ex just be courteous to each other. You don't have to be friends, but you don't have to treat each other like crap as well. You are correct that this will be a much bigger undertaking with children than without, but it is still possible.
nextlastgengamer - True! Boogie should have added "Divorcees without kids". It is infinitely more difficult dealing with emotions and your children's emotions when a divorce occurs between parents. That being said Boogie's advice is good especially about going out and meeting new people.
nextlastgengamer Yes, I am a kid in that situation. It basically just sucks. It's like you're trapped. (Speaking for my mom as well) Thankfully, your mind isn't trapped. Knowing that and working towards the betterment of your life and the lives around you is what can help you to survive. Sometimes that just means trying to be a good person. It's hard for us to remember that.
Perfect timing on this video. Just had this happen to me after being together almost 6 years. The new surrounding and new friends stuff is dead on. That kinda stuff makes you feel so much better.
I agree. I tried chilling with my ex as friends and i just wanted to kill her even more haha its like you wamt to be but all the rage comes back even harder. And we.aint even fucking anymore so whats the point.
why are your comments so abrasive? you come across as extremely obnoxious in every comment you post. The sad part is that you're not even a troll, you're just a weirdo that likes being negative.
What other comments? I comment maybe 10 times a year on RUclips. If you've seen them all I'm a little creeped out. I just have an opinion on the matter and stated it. Maybe you should check yourself and why it gets to you so much instead.
I went through my divorce at pretty much exactly the same time you did, and it was finalized in December. I'm favoriting this video because it has some of the best advice out there. I'm still struggling with putting myself out there for new experiences, but I am trying. The big difference is a lack of a good support structure; we had been together for 14 years, starting in high school, so pretty much all the friends we had were mutual. When it was all said and done I realized that my parents tend to say things that just make me feel worse (even though they don't mean to) and I had no friends, so the hardest way to deal with it is coping alone. I'm still struggling with that part, but still yet I'm getting a little better all the time. Thank you so much for this Boogie.
We’re here for you boogie, you are such an inspiration to me on a daily basis and I love your channel. Watch every video, thank you so much boogie for all that you’ve given us
Good advice. Especially the part about memorabilia. I went through a very painful and self-destructive separation many years ago, and I was smart enough to keep stuff that makes me remember the good times. Whenever I feel down and depressed, I open the box with stuff like photos, a stuffed animal I won for her at the fair, her poems she wrote for and about me (I could sadly never write any back since I don't have the talent), correspondence etc. Abd using that I can feel the happiness I had back then. It's bitter sweet, but I'm so very glad I kept those things instead of throwing them out.
While it might not mean much. The fact I see Boogie make this videos and keeping his confidence and I’m just....I have no words. Seriously if anyone asked me who the strongest person I know was, Boogie is #1 without question EVERY time. It really puts into my head that no matter how tough things get, if you try like Boogie, then anything is possible.
I would agree fully, but I know too much about "total biscuit" and his plight. Not trying to take anything away from boogie, just hoping to bring attention to cynical brit and the amazing strength and resilience he has shown through his fight. Boogie has the confidence to know he can beat this(whatever the "this" might be). TB is in a fight he knows he's going to lose, and yet faces it with a level of determination that is unparalleled. He is the epitome of "rage(ing) against the dying of the light". And he's doing it, like Boogie, on the public stage. Which takes brass balls the size of watermellons.
carl witt absolutely, just for the sake of commenting under Boogie’s video, I feel it more appropriate to address his accomplishments, like you said TotalBiscuit is in a completely different situation and I can’t even begin to compare those.
We are with you boogie. This is not something that is easy to live for anyone so know that you have your whole community of fans that supports you. You are the best!
Thanks for making this video, I've been separated about 5 months now, you hit on a lot of good points. It's not an easy thing to go through. Stay positive. Keep it real, peace.
Boogie is not a you tuber boogie is like a friend who talk to you about the thing that he care about and that's what I love about it. i do not watch all of your video but I do care - A friend.
Thanks for sharing, Boogie. I haven't been through a divorce myself, since my engagement ended before the wedding. So I have been single for about a year now. I have to say, it sounds like you're doing everything right, spending time with people, making sure you don't just sit at home. I know things like this take time, but I think you are well on your way to a good future. You deserve a good life, so don't settle for anything less.
Palidor ok maybe that's your opinion.. I don't agree , he inspires me and shows me that even when everything seems difficult , we all have the strength to build the life we dream for ourselves inside of us. But if that's how you feel about him maybe just don't watch his content.
I was too afraid to comment when I first saw this but thank you. I’m going through a break up after living with my partner for quite awhile and it has hurt a ton. It’s been a month since and after watching this I’m realizing how many mistakes I’ve made in my recovery process. Now I know what to do, thank you boogie, you’re a great man.
I remember when getting married meant something. Now it's nothing more than dating with benefits. Really sad. For better or worst? yeah right. LOL That's only if the worst happens to someone else. People need to grow up and learn what marriage is all about before making the commitment.
Went through a breakup with someone I was with for 6 years. Hardest thing I've been through. I want to thank you for helping me get through those times. Nothing but Positivity from here on out. [+]
I recently got divorced and thank you for sharing these very important points. Much love and as sad as you may feel you will love again. Life is a roller coaster and as low as you may feel you will be high on life before you know it.
I am looking forward to watching this. I had my first breakup with my bf of 3 years. Its been 10 months and im still struggling. I hate it. But its hard when you have depression and ocd along with getting no closure. I also spend a lot of time alone as i work and live alone lol. But ive watched you succeed so much and make it through this and it really inspires me. Thank you for finally posting a video like this. I understand a break up is not a divorce. And im sorry if its offensive to compare. Just i had a ring and i did think i was spending forever with him. And now...im not even worth a hello. Its a hard concept to think people can just fall out of love and i wonder if ill ever feel that way. Or if this is one of those things you dont let go of but rather learn to live with. Sorry if this makes no sense. Im crazy sleep deprived. The point is I was worried when you spoke of your divorce. Because depression does not make this pain any easier to cope with. But i keep seeing you do it. And it just makes me think maybe I can one day i can better cope with it too
Casey, I can definitely relate. Thanks for sharing. If you care to read my rambling story, here it is. I erased the wedding invite card designs from my old computer at the beginning of this year. The wedding was planned for last summer, but I got kicked out of the apartment instead. I left my ring on a tree branch in a forest nearby. I can't compare my engagement to a marriage either, but I had started to plan the rest of my life with her, and we were talking about when we were going to have kids. And suddenly, all those plans didn't mean a thing. That wasn't my first breakup, and definitely not my worst. Still, thinking that I was going to spend the rest of my life with someone led to a whole new emptiness, when they were suddenly gone. It has been about 14 months since the breakup now, and I am starting to look forward, thinking about what I want to do in the coming years. I can't give you any advice that Boogie hasn't already talked about it in this video. Just don't give up, find people you trust and find things you like to do. From my experience, it will become easier to cope over time. I wish you the best of luck, and urge you to keep working towards a happier future.
Improbabilities. Thank you and i am sorry you went through that. I know deep down that even on my darkest days when i feel so.muvh like giving up, i wont..i made it this far so of i keep trying somethings gotta change eventually. Im happy you can look forward to the future and i will keep aiming to get to that point as well.
Steve let me tell you I have been following you for a very long time I think a couple of years after you started on RUclips back when they were just a start up. I have followed your ups and downs and really I am amazed and proud of you that you found the strength to dig down deep and find the motivation or purpose or whatever that magic is that causes someone to move forward through difficult times.
Advice for divorcees? Boogie you're in no position to give advice, you said that you should surround yourself with people, but not everyone has a 4,4 million subscriber base. Honestly you should feel blessed to have an outlet like this where you can vent all of your problems. Also don't rush getting married , your wife left you once you started getting better , the timing is so off it's obvious she married you for the heritage but when you got better she bailed. Had you continued your previous lifestyle she would probably be a martyr by now, profiting of your death. Also cut any ties you had with her it's time to move on.
I've been through this too man. It's never easy and there is lots of pain involved. You make lots of good points for sure. I also turned to reading my Bible more and spending time in prayer. Working on myself and making new memories. Big point of advice too...do NOT jump right into another relationship to try and "conceal" the pain of the previous loss. It doesn't work out well for most people. Good luck all!
I split up from my partner the very same day you released your video regarding your divorce. Your videos and updates have helped me more than you’ll ever realise,. Keep it up, Boogie. You’re doing awesome.
Incredible video and spot-on advice, not just for divorcees, but any kind of breakup, honestly. I "only" lost a friend, yet maybe one of my best friends, around the same time and it knocked me off the planet. The circle of friends around her made it even worse, by secretly excluding and mobbing me behind my back, and just recently left me entirely over a little problem I had with an entirely different person, which they blew out of proportion. We're all colleagues though, which makes matters even worse. Without my actual friends, I honestly wouldn't know what to do.
Huh, maybe it's just me - but you kept personal detail to a VERY bare minimum - I did not hear you say hurtful or even disrespectful things about your ex-wife! On the contrary, I never knew much about the mystery woman ^-^ - and you did not gave me the impression that it's her fault - in fact, I remember you saying VERY nice things about her and respected her feelings totally. So... like I said, maybe it's just me, but I thought you had done an amazing job in keeping things quiet and to a super fair minimum. As it should be - a divorce usually requires two :)
Your are such an inspiration Boogie! I am proof that time, and inner strength heals. 2 years ago I went through one of the toughest times of my life. Last year wasn't so great either. But this year is amazing for me, and I hope you can say the same soon.
I don’t believe you understand how helpful this is whether someone is married or not. I’m going through a break up with my first and it’s really hitting hard because it was ended when we still loved eachother. You’re a strong strong man and I can’t be happier that you’re still alive today
- Girlfriend marries the guy out of pity and also because she wanted a beta provider to pay the bills. - Girlfriend cheats on his ass for years while looking for an exit (She literally posted pics of herself with her side guy while claiming he was just a "friend"). - Girlfriend figures out Boogie is now loaded because of RUclips. - Girlfriend now has her exit, files for a divorce and takes half his money. - Boogie is now in denial and tries to tell himself "She deserved every penny" when he explicitly knew he was getting used for years. - Girlfriend is back to riding BBC while having her retirement money set so she doesn't have to work a day in her life, thanks to Boogie. I have a lot of respect for you Boogie, but this kind of shit is ridiculous, you know that you got played and just to avoid making it painful, you deny it and literally encourage her for it. I know a lot of fanboys will contest this comment a lot, but hey, let's be logical here, if you got cheated on and played by your wife "who supposedly gave you strength", do you think you'd give her half your wealth when she decides she is leaving your ass for the guy she's been fucking with on your back for the last 2-3 years or so ? What you do with your divorce is your business Boogie, but don't go on the internet and pretend the way you handled this is perfectly fine. Also, next time you decide to marry a useless gold digger, make her sign a prenup so you don't lose half your life's work when she decides to bail on you. Take care Boogie, you really deserve happiness after all of this. You look a lot healthier now that she is gone and i hope you keep on doing good work. We are all looking forward to what you have to offer in the months and years ahead.
Why would she hook up with a guy almost in poverty on the off chance that he makes it big several years in the future? And if she was going to leave him for a black guy with a big cock you'd think she'd pick one who isn't gay.
I'm young and haven't had to face any difficult challenges in my life so far, thank god. But I love watching your vids Boogie and if I ever face challenges in the future its comforting to know I have tonnes of great advice and wisdom at my fingertips in the form of your videos. Thanks Boogie, stay safe!!
You are looking so glowing and healthy these days Boogie! Keep doing you and focusing on getting better and better! The only way is up my friend! Keep it up. Nothing but greatness awaits. I love watching your progress via twitter and youtube!
Dear Boogie, Not sure if your going to read this but I’ve been a fan for a long time. I’m currently going through a divorce and it’s by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with and It makes it worse seeing as my kids are going through it as well. I don’t wanna make this to long but this video has given me some hope and has helped me out some knowing others are going through the same things and trying to find positivity. I appreciate this video so much and your overall content!!! Thank u and the best wishes on your situation as well.
Men never fully recover, I haven't. It's even been argued that men are more neurochemically-predisposed to find breakups more difficult than women, and to resist seeking help from friends.
I really like the concept of "trying out new thoughts/ideas". It's hard mentally wrestling with a divorce and that's a good way of validating your thoughts and feeling, but that they don't have to be permanent.
You got got, it happens. Best advice, don't get married. People are too selfish and addicted to attention and instant gratification these days for it ever to work. It's sad times we live in, but it is what it is
It sucks when people go through divorce, especially if there's children involved. Im glad you're doing so well Boogie, you look awesome since the last time I saw you, and that was following your surgery. Much love and respect, ma dood.
NoobDJ Official that makes no sense even if two people love each other they will end up divorcing most of the time. its more complicated than just love, there will be cheating, secrets, bad moments, fights, and majority of the time one part doesnt want it anymore and thats it. no matter how hard you want to keep the marriage if the other part wants to end it.
Went through 4 divorces as a kid growing up (my parents obviously). It taught me at the age of 16 that marriage is a flawed and old system that humans try to hang onto without questioning it. :)
Damn straight! Much respect and love.
I divorced Sony a long time ago for No Man's Sky. No more pre-order marriages for me.
boogie2988 I love you man. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Noscamaroz28
You are the poster child for ignorance.
David T ur wrong but that’s ur own opinion so keep it to ur self. Don’t comment it on a positive comment
CrazyAndLazy I’m confused You just said his comment is disrespectful?!!
Yea once the divorce is over all ties should be cut with the woman. If there were kids involved it would be a different story, but in this case he should say "bitch lose my phone number"
Boogie is one and so is Charles Trippy.
+AtomicDog How is being mean to each other going to help anyone?
"Hopefully your marriage is the one that ends in death." It's funny how malicious that sounds.
Haha, I thought the same thing. I know what he meant, but it definitely didn't sound like a positive message.
Just the text of that statement can seem super malicious, but when you give it some thought, you're like "oooo, I see now :)"
Actually, I knew what he meant right away and only after a second thought realized it sounded funny.
Jacob Anderson it should be "I hope your marriage ends when you both pass away".
deadboy 12 Hopefully it ends when the first to pass, passes. There's laws against what you are suggesting haha
Divorce is never going to be easy but I wish the best to anyone going through it.
My divorce was in 1992, we didn't have social media. My ex slept around and was a drug addict, left me for a drug dealer who cut her off the freebies and turned her into a mule as soon as the divorce was final. She had it comin', I couldn't sign the divorce papers fast enough.
I’m going through a divorce right now and 13 days pre bariatric surgery thanks for posting your content I can really relate a lot to your videos
Good luck on your recovery from both. Know that I am rooting for you.
boogie2988 thank you man I appreciate it and I have to agree with you surround yourself with friends and love ones that helps so much
An on lmao nigga you really gotta post comments like that
Bobby Garcia why would she leave you for trying to get thin?
Rainbow Dash It happens alot. Working in healthcare you hear about it more. It ends up being a large scale change for all involved and your spouse may not want the change or psych/thoughts come into play.
Boogie your shoulders are getting more and more narrow
I haven't watched a boogie video for a few months and watching this, the change is so drastic
Tom Langford Same dude, haven't seen him for moths and god, he is completely different! I'm happy for him :D
his wife left him a for a black. sad!
I had to look twice at the thumbnail, I did not notice it was boogie at 1st glance.
I feel sorry for you
Hey everyone’s different, let me just say my grandparents have been divorced for up to over 45 years but they tend to get along great. As in they love each other like they’re family but not romantically, and there’s no manipulation to it at all.
Losing $1000 is the second worst mistake of your life? Damn. You're doing pretty good man.
Man. Youre looking really good these days. Keep it up man!
Much love man
Your honesty on this channel is something I admire and commend you for. Im glad sharing your personal experiences has helped so many.
Boogie I always got respect for you
Edward Sanchez Productions
Me to.
I'm 47 and I've never been married and I've never lost anything.....best decision of my life. 👍
Kerry Cronic Vlogs haha your partner doesn't love you!
TrueToCaesar yea my friend had the same thing happen to him when he was first born, he told me all about it. I know how you feel.
TrueToCaesar
60% of my classmathes from highschool came from a broken family.
I'm going through a very hurtful break up. A lot of feelings involved. Thank you Boogie. Your videos always help me. ❤️
He said it. Not me, take it up with him
lol, then why did YOU make the comment saying she deserved what she got addressing everyone who said she took too much?
Such an important person to have on this platform. Talks articuality from the head and heart. RUclips are very lucky to have you Boogie.
My best advice. Buy a cool model kit, buy paint and tools, sit down and listen to some nice podcasts. And talk, talk, talk about it with people you trust and like.
That's pathetic advice. go back to reddit, incel.
Exactly, I remember in the video I mentioned before it talked about "civil distance"
I got divorced on October 6, 2017 after getting separated on December 1, 2016. I have not been doing well. Please keep us updated. Some need advice.
Thank you Boogie. I'm not married, but this is good advice even for just a break up, or any kind of loss. You're a good man. Stay strong and thanks for keeping us entertained! Love ya!
Boogie you are looking so good, looks like you are going handling life really well. We are all proud
Suburbanite cucks would quote Dr. Phil.
Awe Boogie❤️❤️❤️ I loved this video! Stay positive hun, you’ll get through this 😊
I divorced Sony a long time ago for No Man's Sky. No more pre-order marriages for me. You are handling divorce quite maturely, some couples get vindictive and immature and petty and manipulative, especially when young children are involved.
Dave Dogge I feel for your loss. Hope you cope with the pain in a healthy way.
Hopefully low budget pirate games fill the void
Your not alone
PikamonMaster 🤦♂️🥕
Andrea Tan 8
I love this video. My husband has lymphedema as well so we feel your concerns, man. He loves your motivation to do better. We wish you nothing but the best!❤
How to survive divorce - don't get married
and go mgtow.
Nelcomarproductions
Given modern day Females and the meeto shit. Mgtow is an savior for us men.
Drop the mic
or don't marry gold diggers and look for a woman who has wisdom and virtue
animeplusTouhou awesome lol wisdom and virtue dont exist in their nature.
your such an inspierational person, your on the other side of a divorce helping others and this comment section is full of people youve done just that for, be proud of yourself man.
Daniel Moore, Jr. I actually have a 1 year old daughter, and I'm going through all of this right now.
nextlastgengamer unfortunately, yup
nextlastgengamer - True!
Trying to be friends with an ex is a path to disaster. I supremely advise against it.
Nope on all accounts lol
People should be able to realize in this day and age marriage is not the be all end all in life and should stop worrying about your social status
We’re here for you boogie, you are such an inspiration to me on a daily basis and I love your channel. Watch every video, thank you so much boogie for all that you’ve given us
My marriage is one that will end in death...as soon as I can find a big enough shovel
Lol that’s awesome
My divorce has been real hard so thank you for sharing
Thanks for making this video, I've been separated about 5 months now, you hit on a lot of good points. It's not an easy thing to go through. Stay positive. Keep it real, peace.
Boogie is not a you tuber boogie is like a friend who talk to you about the thing that he care about and that's what I love about it. i do not watch all of your video but I do care
- A friend.
You are an inspiration. I know you don't believe it, but you are. Thank you for sharing this. 💙
I'll never get a divorce cause I refuse to get married
And it just makes me think maybe I can one day i can better cope with it too
good luck
Women are children it's alright if you don't make sense.
Jo Ordinate wow you are so bitter sounds to me like your in no position to give advice everone is different
Step 1: don’t get married 😆
MGTOW!
O'Toole the Tool
I haven’t heard that since grade school
Ivana L.C nice argument for why men should get married :)
If you want to know what it's like to be married, just give the woman you hate most your house.
I split up from my partner the very same day you released your video regarding your divorce. Your videos and updates have helped me more than you’ll ever realise,. Keep it up, Boogie. You’re doing awesome.
Man your really looking good boogie and it sucks that you got a divorce just remember it wasn't meant to be
Incredible video and spot-on advice, not just for divorcees, but any kind of breakup, honestly.
Getting a divorce is easy. Staying married is not. Divorce rate is so high can't help but be sad about it.
You have done really well to keep it together. It's is very hard going through a divorce and I'm glad it's all gone smoothly for you
Huh, maybe it's just me - but you kept personal detail to a VERY bare minimum - I did not hear you say hurtful or even disrespectful things about your ex-wife!
Agreed!
Your are such an inspiration Boogie! I am proof that time, and inner strength heals. 2 years ago I went through one of the toughest times of my life. Last year wasn't so great either. But this year is amazing for me, and I hope you can say the same soon.
Boogie your my best youtuber
High quality video
You are looking so glowing and healthy these days Boogie! Keep doing you and focusing on getting better and better! The only way is up my friend! Keep it up. Nothing but greatness awaits. I love watching your progress via twitter and youtube!
I’m not gonna get divorced
Because no one will want to marry me
Incel alert
Dear Boogie,
Not sure if your going to read this but I’ve been a fan for a long time.
I know a guy who went through a divorce a couple years ago and he did pretty much none of these things, and it's still taking him a while to move on
Men never fully recover, I haven't.
It's sad times we live in, but it is what it is
PunkRockZombie205 sadly it true man , I believe I find someone but at same I afraid I get married to that person that shit will go down .
Perfect description of my ex and also, the reason i avoid relationships now.
I believe this can help a lot of people not just the people who are suffering through a divorce but anyone going through a hard time it's great advice
Dont marry in the first place thats my advice
Believe me it would be nice if it was so
It sucks when people go through divorce, especially if there's children involved. Im glad you're doing so well Boogie, you look awesome since the last time I saw you, and that was following your surgery.
Much love and respect, ma dood.
Makes me wonder if marriage is even worth it with the high divorce rate nowadays.
You're right. Marriage doesn't add anything to the relationship. It's just the government getting involved in your relationship.
Went through 4 divorces as a kid growing up (my parents obviously). It taught me at the age of 16 that marriage is a flawed and old system that humans try to hang onto without questioning it. :)
Where’s Francis ??????
Haven't been watching you often and I cannot believe how thin you got just over the last couple of months, keep going man you are doing great!
Don’t get married without a prenup. Especially for men.
prenup is almost worthless if children are involved, that's the case for the majority of Europe.
Dave Dogge then I guess men shouldn’t get married at all.
We just don't live in the times of marriage anymore. It's that simple.
Some states dont recognize them
Prenups don't always guarantee protection.
I really admire the openness and honesty of your videos! Me and I guess a lot of other people are taking a lot from these.
