Huge fan of Michael, forever. INXS too. It was a tragic loss in 1997. However, the music shouldn't be trapped in a time capsule. Moving forward was the right thing to do. I saw JD 3X in concert and the band rocked. Ready to see what they bring forward in 2020. IMO Michael would agree.
A very tough but blessed chance for young JD. The stress of tryingh to please the 5 band members was too much. He did so well to hang with them for a few years and did an amazing job. No one could ever replace Michael. but Fortune managed to harness the INXS spirit. The fans loved the guy and his voice fits with the songs, it's a pity they drfited apart bu then INXS were nearly done themselves.
I think that INXS made a brilliant decision when it came to choosing their new lead singer! He exudes sexy and magic vocals,he looks the part, and I'm still in love with INXS music now they have JD!!!!
Got damm, INXS without Michael Hutchence is like coffee without black, shit, is no coffee at all, so has no soul!! is like IROMAN without Downey Jr. is NO IROMAN , that´s it!
Not true, MH and Andrew were the song writers and MH was the face of the band but all members made INXS. Gary's bass, Kirk's sax and some really nice guitar.. especially the stairs, Tim's unforgettable riffs and Jon's drumming all worked together to make the INXS sound. Saw them with JD and although not MH, it was fantastic because I was at an INXS live performance again and they really rocked, the music lives on.
@@thesundog8833 I would say INXS lives on through the decades of great music, yes agreed Michael is very prominent and deserving so. However they were a band and all parts helped to create the legacy. I'm in no way saying Michael wasn't a huge part of their success, just that the band was made up of six great musicians that all contributed. And JD was not Michael and was never going to fill those shoes but he did contribute to giving INXS one last hoorah!
JD delivered....the band did not have a manager at the time....they did great with the tour and JD was very good for them. He wanted his solo album produced and INXS could care less. Chris Murphy comes back in the picture and creates post tour drama...he was failing with his chicken ranch and petrol records...he saw INXS again having fun and stuffed it all. Remember JD is just a young guy....JD did concets post the tour in Melbourne and at the olympics....but as a hired gun per the Chris Murphy BS....
This is a song that says farewell to Michael, yet sadly, JD started to live a lifestyle he hadnt earned...all the men in the band are humble, the 3 brothers, kirk and Garry, all so down to earth, for such exceedingly talented musicians. Shame for JD... kirk was right, brash didnt mix with humility and sensuality.... RIL Michael...✌
Respeito os caras da banda como músicos excelentes, mas eles não tiveram respeito pela memória de Michael Hutchence e toda a história que ele ajudou a construir.
Inxs after Michael hughence died 2 years 😢 they found another front man from me jd fortune he old school yer inxs stared up again with his jd fortune she ain't pretty it became a hit but also afterglow Michael never go away they always never go away there little brother 😉
Micheal was the band. 😂 You can’t replace him. He was trying to get away from Paula. She was not the love of his life. The whole band is clueless as to how much Micheal was adored. Disrespectful to the memory of Micheal!!!!
INXS will never be the same without Michael. I still miss him a lot, all these years after this death.
Me too 😢

JD filled impossible shoes, not replacing ofc, but with keeping the style, image and sound, he did remarkably well.
True. I wish he would return
As if anybody could ever take after Michael. Of course it never lasted. INXS music is still huge. It will never die. Michael was amazing

he isnt the singer anymore
@@heathsenior7270 they got rid of him in around 2012.
@@googpix540such a pity
Absolutely ONE Bester Band💕INXS incredible MICHAEL👋lovely’s 2022, November , 25 years, LISTEN and LISTEN always him👍🏿☮️
No one could ever replace Michael, however, this guy was the best alternative. Sad, they didn't keep going with it.
Wish JD Fortune had been with them longer 🤟 good luck JD IN your next steps
JD has a much better low range than Mickey could have ever wished for
INXS & JD FORTUNE BACK ON TOUR 2022 GREAT DREAM :) Will it come true????
❤❤❤❤❤ rock on 🤘 J.D.😘😘😍❤️
I never excepted anyone taking Michaels place! There really is no replacing him
Andrew Farriss is a genius song writer. I look forward to his new album.
Got damm, INXS without Michael Hutchence is like coffee without black, shit, is no coffee at all, so has no soul!! is like IROMAN without Downey Jr. is NO IROMAN , that´s it!
I saw JD with Inxs 4x..HE WAS AMAZING..really miss him.
The definition of INXS is : Michael Hutchence

@@jemxs Michael Hutchence is what lives on. Jd is a clown who was replaced. There's nothing left.

Love these guys
There is no New Inxs!Inxs died in 1997
👍✌👍
INXS acabou quando o Michael Hutchence morreu...
Respeito os caras da banda como músicos excelentes, mas eles não tiveram respeito pela memória de Michael Hutchence e toda a história que ele ajudou a construir.
Этот парень......вернул стиль
They should call this video, "Searching for Michael Hutchence while being in denial."
Não existe Inxs sem Michael Hutchence
PLEASE INXS REVENEZ SUR SCÈNE VOUS NOUS MANQUEZ ;(
Its a shame JD was replaced. Switch was a good album.
Didn’t know they replaced him, thought they said their hood buys after your ended and they retired, etc.
By whom?
“The one who stole his heart” 😂😂Paula was just one of many. If she “stole his heart,” he wouldn’t have cheated on her 🤷🏼♀️
Michael cheated on ALL OF HIS GIRLFRIENDS! HE WAS A SX ADDICT.
Respect the band. You are a singer. Only that.
INXS after 1997 was NO MORE! They were INH8.
Талантищеееее.....
Sin MICHAEL no fue igual ...sorry 😔❤
Люди напомните! Как называется художественный голливудский фильм о взаимоотношениях в группе и о подготовке концерта на Уэмбли. Незабываемо. ❤

Good choice.
Great Alt band.
NO ONE CAN EVER REPLACE MICHAEL
Michael walked away from these guys forever, once they replaced him with this sad excuse for a decent guy.
No sorry J.D you just on loan you'll never be INXS the pressure was the front man
Really punk and funk oriented. Michael said they were mainly influenced by The Sex Pistols and Chic. “A chic sex pistol”
Great alt band nonetheless.

“But after 5 successful albums the band took a break”
No it didn’t
Just came from the live set with Terrence Trent D'arby. REALLY makes this Elvis impersonator look like the 3rd stringer he is.
This is not INXS. It’s a bunch of blokes singing INXS songs with an Elvis impersonator for a lead singer.
i want jd back in inxs , i know hes living through jd
