My friend John's GT3 RS has gone from stock, to GMG center bypass to this Fabspeed exhaust setup. This one is by far the loudest and most insane. absolutely deafening. One of the best sounding cars I have ever driven, it's addicting. turn up the volume, warning to headphone users. this is amazing.
Basically sounds like a street legal racecar.
I doubt this exhaust is street-legal, haha. Depends on the state, I guess.

But I meant like the car itself is street legal because a Porsche GT3 cup car, which it sounds like, is not.
Cant run this setup in laguna seca but damn it sounds so good
hampstershat123 lmao my dad had a 997.2 turbo with a straight pipe. No cats or res. It had upgraded turbo, and tune that’s about it. It was sooo damn loud that 2 of my neighbors called the police on us. When the police arrived, they asked my dad to rev it😂 I live in Illinois btw. I have no idea what the noise laws are over here but they sure aren’t bad. Lol
A GT3 RS with comfort seats and no rear cage? Owner must be a real car guy.

@@rodneyfalls1869 I dont think so. This is a 991.1 which didn't have the weissach package yet. The carbon seats are an option however there is no optionable cage

Glad you like the sound of the GT3 Eddie! I'm still up for a day of fun whenever you get to NYC, my 991 GT3 should be completely straight piped by then. Dundon long tube race headers with no cats, side muffler bypass, and a center muffler bypass. I wish to not only scare women and kids, but to bring back the dead with the sound of my gt3 :)

What's with this obsession of louder and louder tailpipes? This was a big trend on Harley motorcycles, but they just proved to be overly obnoxious, in my humble opinion. Currently I even see this trend in pickup trucks of all things.
Vehicles are naturally loud and each one gas it’s own unique sound which is a showcase of it’s powertrain. Mufflers are made to literally “muffle” the sound in order to keeo noise at a minimum. Long story short, when you are a car person, unique exhausts are like music to our ears!! 😁

I keep telling people when you take the side pipes out it changes the sound of the car. Volume does not beat tone. My set up will be a bit different. Fabspeed headers with Sharkwerks center exhaust and 100mm tips.

The quality of the sound isnt top notch like LC500, but it is crazy loud.
Disagree. LC500 sounds good, but this sounds better.

fabspeed's mini maxflo muffler setup would be a better idea than no mufflers at all...if it turns out to not be loud enough they always make high flow cats and headers
Here's the thing with these cars. You really can't enjoy them like want to. Not for me anyway. I'd have have a daily driver to have this. You can't park this and not worry about body damage or dings out side of your parking at home. And you'd have to live some place that has nice roads. Drive this car in NYC and you'll have broken rims, dents, and scratches with in 1 week. Guaranteed. Then if you actually decide that your going to keep it around. Look for new shocks being replaced at probably the 20k mark with a car this low. If you actually drive daily.
folks who own GT3RS have other cars to daily drive. At this car price range, it's a toy than anything else.
