I loved Bratislava when I went. I booked the trip with almost no knowledge of the city, so I was totally blown away when I went! I just posted a video from my trip. It was so much fun!

Very livable city and doesn't have the stress of most larger European capital. Everyone should visit Bratislava at least once and stay for a few days in order to explore the surroundings (Pajstun, Modra, bunkers, etc...)

Now the city is much more colorful. This Expoza vlog is very dated. So if some tourists are ancious about the city. Because it looked grayish and a lot of graffiti. I have positieve news for you, it's not. A lot of New extra attractions. And painted well. The cathedral for example is prestine white now. It's not a place anymore you can just visit one afternoon. You need at least a full 48 hours to see most of her sights! So just a daytrip from Vienna is certainly not enough anymore. Next if you like shopping, there are a lot of malls, Eurovea is one of them!

Keep on dreaming Hungarians!!!! Slovakia, of course was a vassal country for around 1200 years, but no more! During the so called Austrohungarian Empire, Slovak language and and the Slovak freedom was suppressed for far too long! Slovak needs in the empire were no met, nor even listened to. Now, after the disastrous First World War, the empire collapsed, thanks God! and Slovakia finally took the matters into its own hands, and freely started to march to its own drummer, without any usurpuous exploitations of our Slovak nation. Some of you - the Madyars- still would like to dictate to us - the sovereign Slovaks-,but no more! 😅😀!!!! We're going to take the the matters into our own hands, whether you like it or not! Now we're the kings in our own castle. And try to get used to it that Pozson is now called BRATISLAVA for now and to ETERNITY, Amen! P.S. I love Hungary and my Hungarian friends, but I love Slovakia much more, eventhough I live in Canada now for over half a century. Ss I say guys, I have nothing against any of you, but it is as it is, and like it is, this is my opinion and I stand by it, period. J.G.

Just one more reminder to my Hungarian friends: When I immigrated to Canada in 1968 from then Czechoslovakia durning the Soviet invasion , I met s few Hungarian refugees , who escaped Hungary during the Hungarian uprising against the Soviet invasion and the dominance and interference in the Hungarian affairs and I understood their plight, and now I ask Hungarian people to understand our quest for freedom from Hungary and well as from the Russians, and let bygones be bygones, and we still can be friends on the equal footing. That's the new reality, and let's live side by side in harmony and the mutual respect. That's all, thanks. J..G

Remember, that your ancestors ruled Slovakia for 1020 years, don't you think, that it was long enough ? So now, since the collapse of Austrohungarian empire, after the disastrous First World War, the borders were firmly established , thanks to Trianon Treaty, and there's nothing you can do to change that. Simply, you cannot turn back the clock of history, it doesn't matter, how hard you may try!!!! And the dream of your nationalistic song : Lesz!,Lesz ! Lesz ! - NEVER EVER WILL BE.....

You wrote: Another lovely Hungarian city, occupied and overwhelmed by Czechs and Slovaks after t the World War l ( as entire Felvidek = Highlands of Hungary, which is now officially called Slovakia. ) crazy !!! And my answer is " REALLY " ? , crazy ? Well! I wholeheartedly and respectfully disagree with you Sir. Are you aware, that Frantz Joseph ll, then the King of Hungary, refused to grant autonomy to Slovakia, imposed unbearable extraorbitant taxes on the Slovakian People, and in all honesty, you can called that just ???? Did your Hungarian ancestors like, when Hungary ( and Austria ) were occupied by the Turks???? . I certainty do not think so, and neither did our Slovak ancestors, that's for sure!!!! Austrohungarian Empire collapsed like the house of cards in 1918, oppression stopped, then Czechoslovakia became independent, as now Slovakia, finally also independent from our Czech cousins, and this is the hard reality, that you, our Hungarian neighbours learn to accept, and stop dreaming about the past, because the so called Felvidek a.k.a . Highlands Hungary is the vestige of history, and you, or anybody else, cannot turn back the clock of history, period !!!! A visontlstashra, my friends, and stop being delusional, accept the reality, if you can ! Bye!

Some of you, my Hungarian friends are mistaken, claiming, that the Slovak National Theater was built by some Hungarian architect, wrong ! It was built by two Austrian architects in , if I'm not misraken , 1879, or there about, and not by a Hungarian, just to set the records straight. It's a pity, that I've forgotten their names. So there you have it !In closing, just one question : " In the late 16th century, Hungary was ruled by the Turks for over 150 years. And I'm asking you, did your Hungarian ancestors like it ? I definitely do not think so ! So by the same token, our Slovak ancestors didn't like it either! And present day Slovaks as well do not like to be ruled by anyone, period !!!! Bye! , Bye .....

Hungarian achitecture (gothic, renaissance, baroque, rococo, classical, romantic, eclectic, secessionist, etc...) everywhere in this city... The original and real name of the city is POZSONY and NOT 'bratislava' - this name was botched up after WWI & the trianon dictatum. This city has always been a part of Hungary as the entire Felvidék (Northern Hungary) which is now called 'slovakia'.

Then Budapest is Slovak city. Even name Budapest is slavic origin. From words búda (means house, hut) and pešť/pec (means smelter). It's tellling us what were this two originally slavic settlements focused on. Living and crafting/trading. Until you bums came to Europe and stole it. You don't even changed the name for hundreds of years. Hungarians just acting like they are superior. The fact is you always were minority until Austro-hungarian compromise in 1867. Keep faking the history. Majority in Slovak cities were Slovaks and Germans. Bratislava 1850 (hungarians 7,5% of population) Bratislava 1910 (hungarians 40,53%). Violent magyarization from mongrels you call history. Half of your historical figures are fully or partly slovak origin. They just changed or were forced to change names for hungarian equivalent so they could study or have achievent after you banned slovak schools and language. Learn history mongrel savage.
