    Firstly, love you guys, you have saved my mental health on a number of occasions when I couldn't find explanations anywhere else. Suggestion:
    I would absolutely LOVE a full workflow (timelapse/broken up is fine) for modelling in ZBrush and importing to Blender with all the steps involved (decimation, retopo, exporting a displacement map for use in blender etc, then UVd to take into substance and final setup in Blender). This isn't for me but for others because I understand it now but damn was it hard to figure out how to put everything together after having to watch a plethora of tutorials with bits of one and bits of another to tie them all together. When you are a beginner (which I kind of still am), it is hard to get your head around it...

    Someone should make a tutorial about things you CAN'T do in Zbrush. (Sculpting and Design related) Damn, this program just have everything. Thanks for this tip!

    Great video as always
    Will you guys ever cover baking in substance painter?
    I have noticed a lot of people seem to have issues when baking normal maps with artifacts, and a lot of the times it's Zbrush shrinks the mesh when you subdivide it thus making it smaller than it's original size.
    Or topology not being dense enough for the normal map to work, or topology/UVs not lining up.

      That's not an issue with substance, that's people not understanding how to correctly work with models between other 3d software and Zbrush. It's definitely an interesting point, we might look into that.

      @@FlippedNormals I am geared more so towards film so I dont use normal maps in painter, i just use a high res enough mesh that I see details in painter.

    interesting to see the drip marks going that way lol.. was his hands constantly raised or am I not understanding this technique

      If you notice the angle of the glove while I made the drip marks, it was upright. I was imagining that most of the time the gauntlet would sit upright somewhere, not on his hand

    I've always enjoyed using Polypaint and making a bunch of light passes in ZBrush to then do a comp in Photoshop. Even though it's not industry standard its fun to do.

    Hello,
    Any tricks to make a gradient with polypainting.
    I tried with the DragRect and a degraded alpha, but
    it's not so good.
    Maybe a solution with the LazyMouse/Backtrack, but I can't seem to get it to work.
    to find it.

    Tested it, hmmmmmmm....For me peeks and valleys could do some decent work but can't compare this method to substance painter as you said

    Hi guys! Great video ^^ just one question! I usually use color spray when polypainting organic stuff. Should I use dots for all inorganic objects? Is it a good idea to use color spray for skin? Thank you 😊

      It entirely depends on the result you're after. Color spray is great for adding variation in the color. For this example, I just wanted a little more control

    Why polypainting in zbrush? Do they do this in cg industry? Why not use substance painter for this?

      Probably faster if you just want a concept render, you would need to have some UVs to texture it properly in substance

      They kind of explained at the end. This is quick and dirty for showcasing - it is definitely not used in the CG industry outside of the concept stage as far as I'm aware.
      If you were going to do this in substance, you additionally would want to retopologise and do accurate UVs, high-poly to low-poly baking etc etc, so many more steps, whereas here you can export the decimated mesh out of ZBrush straight into blender and apply a vertex paint node to get the poly-paint (with additional node setup for metallic etc).

      booleans at the resolutions Zbrush is capable of make it an excellent if unexpected choice for a wide variety of hard surface applications.
