This little tune takes me back to memory lane, when I listened for the first time, back in the roaring 80's played by a beautiful girl at a friends party, It sounded like the sweetest and coolest thing ever, everybody asked for an ancore.. Soon I started to learn this tune, mastered but never sounded the same. I do not know why such a simple tune sounded so nice that night, something magic in the air, that only music can bring out, maybe.
So glad I found this channel! Your teaching format is exactly what I was looking for, I really feel like I can learn these songs properly. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you so much! I was a pianist, but unfortunately, I had to sell my piano because of the global issue. My husband gave me a guitar on my birthday, but I had no idea about the repertoire, until I found your channel! It's great that you put the scores, it helps me so much!
Hi. In Answer to an earlier question. This piece is known as just 'Andante' by Carulli. I generally play it in 5th position to get a better tone, but this is a good beginners version.
Greetings to the dear teacher, this etude; It was one of the first pieces I learned from my teacher in classical guitar lessons. It is a very useful song for the flexibility of the fingers of the right hand. 👏👏👌👍🌹🙏
High bear nation said all.....thank you........i enjoy your channel more quicly like a flash....forgive my english....i am 68...from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
Hearing you play iy it made me focus on it and to complete what i fisrt attempted months ago and it wasn't smooth or good. Was just training reading notes that time. To me classical guitar is about this kind of pretty and charming peices. From simple to more complicated. This is proudly the longest etude I've ever learned to play. Still needs some brushing here and there for me but generally speaking, I can impress my family with this one now:) If you share more of Classical guitar peices it will be great as I love to have a reference and to select by how a peice should sound versus what it sounds when I'm making my first attempts)
Very nice video, as always!! May I suggest you to post more of these studies?? They are excelent for guitar skills development. Etude, Op. 60, No. 14 (Matteo Carcassi), for example :D :D :D
I totally agree with 'HighBearNation' So well explained and detailed. Just amazing! Congratulations ! Brilliant!!!! I am ready to provide you with a financial donation. I have just started to play guitar, I cannot read music. I play only Austrian folk music, which I find beautiful. I was looking forward to learn some other kind of music, and found your channel. I do not have time to go to a teacher.
