- As you travel around the roads of Jamaica you will often come across the most unassuming places serving unbelievably good food.
Claudette's sitting quietly at the top of Spur Tree hill, just west of Mandeville is one such place.
Curry Goat like several other emblematic dishes that define classical Jamaican cuisine is a highly personalized item. Every home has its preferred recipe, curry powder blend, accompaniments and style. It is therefore no mean feat that Claudette's has been voted "The Best Place for Curry Goat; years in a row in the Jamaica Observer People Choice Awards

Thank you guys for visiting that restaurant, 1997, I came to Jamaica, and driving from Kingston, we stopped at that restaurant. We all had curry goat and white rice, and every since that day, whenever I feel like having curry goat, I always think of that restaurant, it is the best goat anywhere. I went to Europe, Africa and no curry goat tastes like hers. Jamaica House Restaurant in Toronto cook good curry goat, but not like that lady. My mouth is watering watching her stirring the pot of curry goat. Good job guys!❤👍👍
Like that you guys are featuring small cook shops as well...most times they offer the better tasting foods that those high end restaurants. Another good job guys!

Love this place, her curry goat is the best on the island, in March 2022 the price was $1200 for a large and $1000 for a small portion. Well worth the money! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Hi guys...missed you glad uno come back, the food up like 7...💯%💥. Moya with the media voice over...loving it! I will try anything at least once I'm an adventurous eater. With that said I'm looking forward to eating some alligator nuggets and frog legs. The only thing I would probably not try are insects except crickets.

Was told about this place, will definitely have to visit there the next time I am in JA..... prices are good considering what was served.
As for meats I have eaten other than the usual.... have had rabbit, turtle, duck, alligator, bison, octopus 🐙, squid

Cousin get a mic, whether hand held and or two body mics for each so when interview with, the sound can be heard with clarity
There are mics that are Bluetooth USB compatible and works well and reasonable in cost
So check on it

Thank you. 😀 Just a note we are using a phone for recording hence the flip of the frame. We use are using the front camera that’s the reason.
