FAQ: Q: Does this with work with TModloader? A: It does indeed! It's fairly untreaded ground, but I'd love to see what folks can discover out when mixing mods with Transmutation. EDIT: Make sure you use this method for Philosopher's Stone: ruclips.net/video/0vp6XgoUOz4/видео.html Q: Does this work on console? A: It seems like people have figured out a few ways to get it to work (specifically on Playstation and XBox), but Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV). It's unlikely I'll make guides for console, since I still have so much to cover for PC, but if anyone else wants to make them, go right ahead! There seems to be plenty of demand for it. Q: Wait, I have golden chests in my world! A: In the game, there's two visually identical, but functionally distinct Golden Chests. The implemeneted one can be obtained from pirate invasions, but the un-implemented one cannot be placed or otherwise obtain in any way. Through Transmutation, what we do is we manipulate the sprite data of a regular chest into the un-implemented variant of the Golden Chest. Q: Does Glitch #10 (Multiplayer CGO) work on demon altars? A: Yes, yes it does. That'll be coming in a future video to show what happens when a regular world has one demon altar break a few hundred thousand times. Q: Does glitch #10 work with Plantera bulbs? A: It does! Unfortunately, it's hard-coded that you can spawn only one Platnera bulb, so it's not nearly as spectacular. But, you do get a re-usable Plantera bulb out of it.

I’m pretty sure you can get the gold chest at 20:26 as a drop from the pirate invasion. Unless that’s a different gold chest texture and there just happens to be two in the game one not being implemented as a real item.
@@e.g.g.jr.9848 It uses the exact same texture, and there is indeed a gold chest as a drop from the pirate invasion. The un-implemented one was added to the game's files the update before the implemeneted ones, and even after the "completed" versions were added, these strange, incomplete versions remain.
As someone who spends thousands of hours just building with wiring and logic gates, I'm super curious what type of wiring-related implications this glitch has. You could build arena minigames with bosses spawning on demand. You could build a slot machine that drops money when you win, but the machine never runs out of money. Perhaps you could make a 3D printer which can print any type of block, not only obsidian.
There's a glitch that allows you to turn a regular timer into a dummy engine timer, so there's already some weird interactions with wire. (That video is already done and will be published after the comprehensive transmutation guide.) Honestly, I haven't experimented much with what happens when Transmutation and wire interact. There's probably still lots more to find.
Wow. You just broke this game as wide open as could possibly be. I honestly cannot wait to see what people (especially speedrunners) can do with all of these glitches, the possibilities seem endless!
This reminds me of the old glitch with the piggy bank on Terraria console when it was introduced. Basically, every time you loaded your world. The items in the piggy bank would transmute into blocks and a stack count, and I discovered that the stack count was the ID as well as the block type. Every other time you reload that world, the piggy bank would turn back into normal items and the blocks. It was an insane glitch back then and funny enough, the ID's of PC actually worked with this bug on console despite the version differences.
The way you can obtain unobtainable items reminds me of the old minecraft beta exploit with pistons where you could get invalid block damage values and get seamless stone slabs

You know I rediscovered MCGO by accident when playing with a friend yesterday, I knew what it was and sort of how to make it but I did it by accident in a different way I also discovered the infinite boulders and infinite queen bee glitches as well. Thanks so much for introducing me to this sort of glitch in your comprehensive guide to transmutation video.

Something very similar was found in minecraft. the thing found in minecraft, if I remember correclty, allows you to stitch together the first part of tge id of any block in item form with the second part of the id of any falling block. And because concrete powder is basically 16 block ids in a row, and all of them are affected by gravity, most blocks can be obtained with them. Again, this is just what I remember of what I understood when I heard about it. I think it was on Prototech, like so many other deeply technical discoveries.

19:21 Oh, goodness! I thought they fixed this. I managed to trigger this vanity-disappearing-freeze bug back in early 1.3 with a corrupt, glitchy stack of daybloom I don't remember how I got. I reported it and everyone was dumbfounded. The bug was different, though, in that it had a strange interaction with hitting "loot all" and would freeze you in place and hide your vanities only when you tried to pick it up. I had a world download up for those that wanted to test it. I double-checked, and it is fixed now. But I have a video of it.
already experienced invisiblity frame while overing from unimplemented item (probably chest infact) , from a "hacked" map from workshop , but i dont remember well it was several map ago just remember it contain pixel block (before they was officialy in game) and lunatic treasure bag (and some banner)
I think boring bow (or any item if item without a set size) has item width 0, and throwing it against a wall aligns it to fit between the points that detect collision. I don't know, though. That's just what I thought of when I saw what it did. edit: the edit is unrelated, but it seems like youtube only allows 2 comments per channel per video. The invisible furniture makes a lot of sense. There are many ways for such an effect to occur. I think that in this case, the way it works is that when the visual furniture layer is updated, there is a hard cap of how many times it is allowed to go through the "add next furniture tile" loop (probably not the actual name. I haven't seen the code.), and the glitch you found somehow prevents it from going to the next tile. please try running the glitch with furniture on both sides to see if they get cut off vertically at the same point. If they don't, go to the where the bottom corner of the screen on the side which has the furniture cut off at the highest point of the two sides, and place furniture as densely as possible in and outside that corner. depending on how the game is coded, it might change the what is shown where the glitch is triggered. Or it might not. It would be kinda weird for the pointer that takes map data to continue changing, but not the draw location pointer.

Oh, goodness!
Redigit after this video: new update! Campfires removed from game!
Dude. This hands down is one of the craziest videos I have seen in a long time.
Ah yes, the anti portal block to pink eskimo hood to baby eater pipeline I've heard so much about
The speedrunning scene is about to go WILD
This honestly feels like watching a magician perform magic tricks.
"For my next trick... I add one month to the release time of 1.4.5!"
"...wait what?"
"TRANSMUTATION!"
*for legal reasons this is a joke
**...I think
already experienced invisiblity frame while overing from unimplemented item (probably chest infact) , from a "hacked" map from workshop , but i dont remember well it was several map ago
just remember it contain pixel block (before they was officialy in game) and lunatic treasure bag (and some banner)
"Oh yeah it's not actually useless, just a funny glitch"
*Actually invents invincibility like a boss*
Ethyriel and Mappy will single handedly demolish Vanilla Terraria istg
29:11 ah, yes, the forgotten fourth Triforce piece: the Triforce of BEES
29:11 looks like that one Mario Minigame where you had to find one character sprite with a bunch of others floating around
oh my god this brings back _memories_
Luigi's casino too
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?
i now have a new favourite channel!! desperately want to get back into terraria now, these glitches are amazing lmao
We actually found the bass statue glitch by accident with a friend and had a mind-melt moment
Xbox: This does work
All you need is to follow his other video door desync glitch and have “player 1” as described in the video actually be a visitor online, and “player 2” be the owner of the world. I have a comment left in the particular video
the invulnerability station for bosses is perfect
this is madness. you have gone where no terrarian has gone before
