yes, what you see in this video is some of the highest end play in the game. When you get 8 people together who can play well, and pair it with the top strats and all the consumables in game, you can do amazing stuff. This game is so mechanically similar and yet completely different from gw2. This game is worth picking up if you need a game to enjoy. Complete collection is about $40 from arena net and you can add it to your gw2 account. Currently the player base isnt that big, but its a 15 year old game that hasnt got a new expansion pack since 2008. If you want to see what the high end pvp looked like back in its prime, look for GvG (guild vs guild 8v8) videos from around 2008, and realize how slept on this game is currently. Back from launch they had real tournaments that had huge cash prizes before the era and idea of esports took off. This game is just as dedicated to pvp as it is pve. Each character has a primary and secondary profession, and you can choose any combination of 8 different skills from either profession. People used to call it build wars. You really could build and spec a character out anyway you wanted with unreal amount of combos. any character could use any weapon, and armor was crafted easily and the max armor rating was set so once you got a set of armor you never needed another that was better. The max level of 20 was pretty easy to reach so you didnt need to worry about the grind so much and could really focus on build and strategy. I have over 10000 hours played and I still havent done everything. although there are certainly people who played way less that have done way more than me, it doesnt matter because ive loved every second of this game and dont regret anything.
The rules on gwscr state so: "The area must be fully completed. [...] In DoA, all four gates blocking the path to the adjacent area must be unlocked by the completion of the appropriate task: City: accepting the final quest reward Veil: killing all spawns of the dreadspawn maw Gloom: killing the earth tormentors that spawn from the darknesses Foundry: killing the fury and his group." While one could argue that this ruling makes no sense, this argument doesnt matter. Its just necessary so there is an consistent ruling that allows records to compete with eachother. If it was required to kill Jadoth the old record would ve not been a 17 but an 18 in the first place... or something like that.
Well, this is an alltime record (probably the hardest ever done in gw), it took us more than 7 months with 4 hours of runs per week. You can check out the gwscr link in the description, most builds and other points of view of this run can be found there :) .

Good Job ;)
How is this a record if they don't even do the full parts of each area, doing the parts to get the chests?
