With regards to the premiums... If you resell on the private market, you'll be passing the premium to the buyer anyway, so you won't 'lose' that premium necessarily.
Who cares, premiums are premiums, not something that should affect you bottomline, ore your budget, if i does, you have alot bigger problems, and shouldent stack precious metals 👀

I think one gram bars are good cos it’s what u can afford and as well and if anything happens to the money market like all cash notes or coins are worthless in a shit scenario gram bars will be good to trade with and easy to use as trade more that the bigger bars like the 1oz and up

I have started by investing in a 100g bar and have seen another in the window of the same jeweller that I will probably pick up. I am not a fan of the cards myself, would prefer them in batches of 20 where I could break them off like pieces of chocolate to sell them or to use them as bartering chips.
Hi mate, Another great video as always. Couple of questions 1. Do you have some of form of storage facility for these 1kg bars i.e Plastic wallet or do you just use a general card wallet to store them, mainly for stopping them getting dirty or blemishes on packaging? 2. Do you know how much the Gold shops are likely to pay if you were to trade them I.e 10% less than spot price? Is there an average trade price? 3. Perhaps it would be a good video, if you could do a secret film, of checking how much some of these shops offer you for these bars and then do an analysis of how much of a reduction from spot price? Thanks
Hi Abdul! Thankyou! So those 1KG bars i believe are poured so they’re very durable and don’t need packaging. Dealers tend to offer just below spot price or spot. Great idea for a video.
@FutureInvestmentsBullion I won't take credit for a saying that wasn't my own FI, it is your saying and you will always get the credit for that saying whenever I use it, my friend!😉👍
I think eventually they would be good for barter if the economy completely disintegrated. I have a couple ounces total in 1 gram gold bars just for that purpose but I spent way more than if I would have bought one ounce gold coins. So its not an investment for me. Its more of insurance for me. You have to look at it as insurance. Think about it, if your currency went away tomorrow and you had to use gold to buy things, would you give a one ounce gold coin for a buggy of groceries or a tank of gas. No you would not. You would want to give a much smaller amount. That is what the 1 gram gold bars are good for.
Imho if yiu can get these ar a good price like these , good to have as liquidity is good especially as we all hope that gold price goes up ,this can help others to enter the market as well as like you mentioned a larger market for liquidity
Your paying a premium for the brand name, granted you should get more if you sell to the right place or person for a better brand but never plan on it, best advice buy like your gonna have to sell a spot and you'll be much better off unless your a collector, then price is less relevant.
That's a pretty good price on a gram to be fair but the maths just don't add up on bars especially smaller versions, granted the tavex ones will do there job much sooner but they'll never hold the clout of the royal mint and unless they sell well they drop the product line which could make them somewhat sort after but at the end of it all CGT will still turn most people off meaning sadly they probably won't last as a product when you can buy a tiny coin without having to fear the tax man
@@FutureInvestmentsBullion I'm on about capital gains tax though which stands at 20-28% for gold bullion then add your premium (royal mint pretty much 25%) and yeah that'll never make sense to me because you've essentially got a 50% loss after you're out at the other end with playing this tactically buy trading up before hitting the tax threshold
It's always better to have some gold than no gold, I say yes to 1g bars, I'd rather have 5g or higher but not everyone has the luxury of being able to wait and save, some have to get what they can when they can, and anyone buying 1g gold bars is better off than anyone oblivious to gold and saving only in fiat or not saving at all
They'll come a day when the average person won't be able to even afford 1 gram gold much less an ounce, that's my opinion anyway, it may be a long long time off but itll happen eventually, either way, something is always better than nothing
I just realized that , " some gold is better than no gold" is your saying lol, its sound advice, and common sense, when I typed my comment I didn't even think about it , love those bar videos always ✌ p.s. be a great saying for a shirt, hat, ext..., food for thought.
Does it affect your investment if the gold bullions are removed from the tamper proof packaging if you keep the packaging or certificate? If so, what's the approximate loss?
At the moment its all i can afford, i dont plan on really ever selling back unless its a real emergency, this is a long term savings and a way to store my wealth and to give something to my daughter when i leave this earth. So really its not for me its for my daughter and future children if i have any so i dont care about premiums
If you’d like to collect 1 gram gold bars, it’s your money. The premium is nuts and they are heavily faked so I purchase fractional gold coins, which I recognize also have high premiums.
You’re not wrong. They’re bloody expensive. It’s more for me to just make sure I increase the overall weight of my stack rather than then ignoring it completely while I focus on other investments.

The card design is beautiful but not for me since its too small, my 1st bar was 2.5 grams and even that looks tiny.
I know what you mean. A lot of people go straight for 5G bars for the same reason.
Not usually a fan of the cards, but it looks like they have done a nice job. Are they flatter than other cards?
The price seems competitive too.
They are indeed flatter. A nice little card for sure.
