    the backround setting matches the awsomeness of the song. One of my favorite songs and even better on which would never happen but here it is, Take 5 on bari sax. I love this channel.

    Oh my god, me and my friend play this in band every day, marimba and tenor sax duet

    The Bari is so expressive. I'm on my first sax atm (a student alto), and I reckon I'll be getting a tenor, then a soprano, then a Bari - but my word, I am looking forward to playing one eventually!

      The first time I played Bari I marched it, it was so much fun! Then my junior college had me play it in both concert and jazz band, Its a lot of fun.

      As a bari player, get a bari next. It’s like the best saxophone it feels the most responsive and the closest to an extension of yourself through saxophone I’ve found :)

      Took me six years of looking to find one I could afford. (Less than four figures) Be patient and they do turn up

      Get a Bari first, same transposition, best feel, most different expression, most goofy and unique. I personally went alto, Bari, soprano tenor, but I started on clarinet as my first instrument.

    Jay, thou makest me want to grab a bari: heavenly expressive thou art; so melodically relevant thou carveth thy improvisation that both Harry Carney and Serge Scherloff (sp) smileth with joy while Gerry Mulligan cheereth uncontrollably, so to say! (smile)
    Excellent 👍 performance 👏, champion; very creative and insight ful you are to have used the bari to "Take Five".
    I love it!

      low A

    • @hxhdfjifzirstc894
      @hxhdfjifzirstc894 Год назад +1

      If you want to figure out if a baritone is low A, note that the bell extends higher, up to the bottom of the neck bow (approximately). If the bell is shorter, it'll be a Low B-flat model. The difference is, they put an extension into the bell, to make it play lower.

    Heh, did we see you geting out of breath there? I've played a bari just once, and I needed at least two more lungs to do the same phrases as on my alto 😄.
