Started my locs two days ago using two strand twists. I spent a lot of time researching and knew that I wanted less than 100. I thought I’d come out with 90-95 but I ended up with 78. Looking at videos I’m realizing the loc count really doesn’t matter as everyone’s hair density, head size, etc .. is different. My 78 could end up being the same size as someone with 110 lol this video was very helpful & your locs are beautiful!!
the main reason ppl ask abt loc count is so they can mimic a similar look but just worrying about how many locs someone has on their head doesn’t matter its all about size preference
I love that you have 64 locs! I have 68 and I thought that it sounded like “too few” but seeing your hair makes me realize that having under 100 can look full and beautiful. Thank you! ❤️
I have 59 and was crying bc I wanted more. I feel like I need at least 90 but I have fine hair. I pray they come out good like yours. Thanks for sharing.

I liked a lot of styles there were over 100 but being that I planned on doing my own hair I was like WTF is going to do over 100 locs doing the retwist. Not me lol. Ended up with 79.
I love your thick locs! It looks like far more than 64 to me! Your hair is SO FULL 😍😍😍 I have 100, I'm happy so far with my loc babies, I think 100 is a good medium size/ number. I used to have 324 microlocs and chiillleee it took 12 hours to interlock! No more of that mess! Lol

Right! My first set was 82 but I combed them out because I wanted them thicker ❤️
