Oh yes! The second pane function. I knew it was there and when I was watching your complaint video I kept saying to myself "Joe just use the second pane option." but I didn't realize it was from 11 months ago & I also didn't realize you can make adjustments on either pane. For whatever reason I make changes on the map & just use the graph as a visual. Ok I officially feel like an idiot now 🤪
Sweet. Looks like an update is in order which would be a good video in itself because I’ve been on V5 the whole time. Would also like to see more on PID tuning to get super accurate boost control.
At the time of this video the term x update had not been released. “V6” is for hp and dominator ecus. The term x update came out shortly after and has most of the same updates
So it looks like this was only added to the Holley efi and not the terminator x software? I’ve always wondered if you can open terminator x global files in the standard holley efi software since they look near identical
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest Thanks! I found it, if anyone else is wondering, Version 2 Build 80 is the first release that dual pane is available. The regular terminator x software page just links to download build 50.
I like the new features in V6 Build 220. Will the new version for a Terminator X Stealth TBI system utilize the same .terx global files that I already have?
Hi, have term x max on a 6.0. Ran fine then one day started to pop at light throttle and felt like it choked sometimes. Only when hot. Changed to a new o2 sensor and fixed a small exhaust leak. Got a bit better. But still does it. Before the afr went crazy when it happend. Now it goes a bit smoother but still up and down a lot. What could cause it? Seen some say bad ecu after changing o2 sensor.
I have never experienced that. Hard to say. Turn closed loop off that should answer any o2 sensor related questions assuming the tune is close and not just relying on closed loop heavily
Haha i guess you did reply 19 seconds after it was posted. But yes most of these new features are available in the next terminator x software update as well
Entire world is experiencing delays and set backs and shortages, but with out a doubt the Holley terminator X customers are the most pissed off about it haha.
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest ok Joe. I couldn't find it there. It's different from firmware? I looked. Or do you have to pay for software update. I'm in ky west ky. I heard your in ky also. I can bring it to ya I'm like 1.5 hr from holley
Very cool did this make it to terminator x? Also does anyone show any tuning of the max with trans control? Always look forward to new videos it is greatly appreciated
Its useful functionality and I'm happy they added it, but why did they implement it like this, differently than every other software manufacturer? Menu at top and/or side, work space in the middle, open as many windows as you want and scale them however you want. Right click opens options, left click selects, double left click opens, x at the top right closes. Changing the way we work with interfaces just makes stuff less intuitive to use and adds to the learning curve...
I love all of the updates in Build 220. I've been (badly) wanting the second pane as well and being able to change/set the default folder is huge for me as well, PLUS adding incremental times on the data logs = Whoo HOOOooo!!! So for me (not complaining, we're running fine with 12-1), now it's down to wanting Holley to add more Crank and Cam sensor voltage settings (custom settings only has one Minimum Signal Voltage and it doesn't work for both start/sync and running at HIGH rpms (we're looses sync above 9,000 rpm with setting that starts easy, and then won't sync/start when set higher to rev without loosing sync). All of my tunes are on Bikes that rev 10,000+ with some revving over 13,000 (don't hate on me, I've seen the posts on high reving cars that have had the same issue with high tooth count reluctor)... Good news is, I was told the single settings might be replaced with tables (similar to what another ECU has) but it probably won't happen before the next version is built/released...
All of these updates are incredible
I agree!
Dude! I’m just happy to see a new video from you sir!
Between being busy, daughter being sick, then me getting sick, i havnt made one in a while!
That 60ft an 8th mile overlay is gonna help a lot of people. Dual pane fuel map is a game changer
Nice to see Holley listening, and letting you test the new software
Thanks Joe! I'm new to Holley and learning a lot from your videos. I still think I need to find a pro with a dyno to get a better start.
Thanks Joe for taking time to show us the new features.

Do you have a video about set up for non listed injectors?
Your videos have been saving me while learning this EFI thing ,Thanks!!
Good info for the group! I may or may not have been the one to ask to have those time slip markers added :)
My guess is hundreds of us did haha
When I watched Devin’s video, I said to myself “Damn! Joe got that fast!”. Get them to do lambda next.
Like 20 people messaged me and basically said the same thing. So grateful they did the update
Agreed, as a novice tuner I can easily make changes based on lambda % changes
HI Joe I love your videos Is this an update for Sniper Xflow 1375 as well
Good stuff dude! Always great content! Helps out a ton of people!! Keep it up!!
Hopefully it helps, that’s the goal!
Thanks for the video! 👍🏻
So, do any of the Holley ECUs offer the ability to store and switch between multiple tunes?
Sweet. Looks like an update is in order which would be a good video in itself because I’ve been on V5 the whole time. Would also like to see more on PID tuning to get super accurate boost control.
I’ll try to do a video next one that comes in that i need to update
The Old Accel DFI would let you adjust the VE,AFR and Timing tables with the 3D table. Definitely made it easier to make adjustments.
I don't see this update listed for the terminator X on the holley website? The latest one says V2 Build 80
At the time of this video the term x update had not been released. “V6” is for hp and dominator ecus. The term x update came out shortly after and has most of the same updates
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest I found it finally on the website, The V2 build 80 has all these new features. Thanks for the reply! Your videos kick butt!!
Datalog time slip stamps are bad ass too !! Wow.
Nice. Do you think there will be any hardware updates to the Dominator ECU in the near future?
So it looks like this was only added to the Holley efi and not the terminator x software? I’ve always wondered if you can open terminator x global files in the standard holley efi software since they look near identical
Most of the features were later added to terminator x.
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest For some reason neither my terminator X V1 or V2 software will give me the dual pane function?

Great info as always. Any idea if they did the same with the Sniper software?
I was not sent any sniper software so i can’t say one way or the other at this time

I cover that in the video haha
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest I just got to that part in the video. Guess I was not patient enough. Thanks for the great videos!!!

any idea if/when Map based boost control coming to TermX?
Not that I’m aware of
Which port is my Terminator X stuck at ? Look new features for a imaginary ecu .
Entire world is experiencing delays and set backs and shortages, but with out a doubt the Holley terminator X customers are the most pissed off about it haha.
I think it's because the LS community is very entitled. The community also thinks a terminator is a lot of money to spend on an ecu...
How to get it. I can't find update anywhere. Maybe just not doing something correct
All the newest software versions for each ecu is on Holley’s website
