I especially like it when you show examples, not just dry text. Please continue to do this and as brightly as possible, it helps me to remember. Thank you!
Thank you so much Bob. Your videos are always super helpful! Before I saw your video, I didn't realize the pronunciation difference of "Close" and "Drawer" in two different contexts. Hopefully one day I can see you in person as I moved to Toronto recently. Cheers:)
Whatever! I ❤ english anyways! I started learning since I was child on my own and now I still doing every single day.I fell in love with this language.Regards from Argentina,Buenos Aires.
Thank you so much for your videos, I need to express my gratitute for them because i´ve been learning a lot. You are a good teacher and you have our attention in your class. You´re the best Bob. Thanks again.
Hi Bob, this is not only with English. In Portuguese happens the same. In your first example in this video: I close the door to my van, means in Portuguese: Eu fecho a porta da minha van. The verb fechar (to close) can be used with other means. For example: Eu fecho um acordo (I make a deal). Believe me, the Portuguese is much more strange than English, beyond this our language has gender, the English not. For example: The boy or the girl, The is used for male or female, singular or plural. In portuguese we have one for each: O garoto, A garota, Os garotos, As garotas. And no all the words finishing with A are female. For example Canada (country). Here we don't say A Canadá, but O Canadá (yes, for us Canadas ha accent). Regards from São Paulo Brasil.
Hi, Bob. I want you to know that I really appreciate the production and the contents of your videos plus a nice and suave way to teach us all. Please keep ‘em coming. Tony, the Brazilian here. Take care, pal.
This video is awesome !! Thanks a lot ! I'm French, and I often have troubles to pronounce English pretty well. ;) In this case, it's very tricky to guet the difference, it's really subtle ! :)
Thank you, Bob. Your lessons are really helpful. You made it very clear and easy to understand. And you don't need to feel sorry for the difficulty of English, some languages like Chinese are even harder to learn. 😂Thank you very much !
Bob, I'm glad for watch your videos. I'm from Brazil and I'm studying English every day. You are help me to improve my skills with your videos. Keep going!
Hello Bob. I know you don't do many videos on grammar, but, if it is possible, please do a full pledged video on 'how to use comma'. All the complications involved in using them in writing.
Hi Bob! Love your approach making the videos. It seems that you really love what you are doing. One more example for this topic: Turkey (country) and turkey (bird).
Thanks, it was really helpful. Before watching this video I only knew 2 pairs of words: tear (noun and verb) and read (present and past). However, English is not as evil as Spanish and French with their homophone words like haya (a tree), aya (a babysitter) halla (he/she finds out) or the French words ai(present), aie(subjunctive 1st person),aies (subjunctive 2nd person) ait(subjunctive 3rd person) haie (an obstacle in dog training), hais (present of the verb haïr), Aix (like in Aix-en-Provence), et (and), es (you are), est (he/she/it is), etc. I might have forgotten some other words as French is really evil in terms of homophony
your way of teaching is so great and interesting very much Bob. l can improved my English language skills that well ..with your video thanks you for lessons great Bob keep up for people and student foriegn students
