We have to get some more pictures and hitters and clean players who can field a play defense really quickly and great. We have been blown out several times last season. It’s really been really hard to watch it happen for years. I never thought I’d see this team win a championship but they did it 3 out of 5 years. I saw this happening and I just cried because my grandparents were saying that they were never going to see this team winning a championship. I felt so sad that they did this after he passed away and I looked up and said that they won a championship grandpa we won. I don’t think it’s going to happen again but I hope they do this again

    Jung Hoo Lee is not like Othani as he is deliberately trying to speak in English. Othani has been in the US a few years now but has his translator everywhere he goes. Jung Hoo went along well with Yasel Puig while they played for Kiwoon Hereos. In short, my point is that Jung Hoo will blend well with his teammates, and the humility he possesses would make him more valuable in the clubhouse and elsewhere.

      Japanese players are known to have translator with them throughout their entire career. Ichiro had his translator with him till the end of his long career, I never heard him speak English. It's a shame really.

    • @jrefeedsyt
      @jrefeedsyt 5 месяцев назад +6

      @@nomomania6827 I speculate the reason to be deeply rooted in Japanese culture and history. Japanese people in general have this strange sense of superiority, believing that their everything, including language, is better than others. That’s probably the reason they don’t even make that little effort of, at least, attempting to learn another language. The first ever Korean baseball player to succeed in the MLB was Chan Ho Park, a fastball pitcher who did pretty well as a starter for LA Dodgers. This dude went all out to learn English, going as far as to forget his mother tongue 😂.
