      that diesel taste is the shrimp and crab boil liquid and not the road side water quality fyi.

    Great video, we did pretty good this past weekend at Rutherford beach , 4 bull reds, 2 sharks and a gaftop catfish. I love this time of year when the weather is starting to cool off and everything is biting. Here's a thought, since crab and shrimp mostly stay on bottom, I wonder if you would catch more with a rectangle shaped net so more area covers the bottom.

    Humbra another good vid I remember we had a net hanging off that pipe killing the shrimp that was over 20 yrs ago tho . Still a hot spot at the right time.

    Love your videos buddy. My son and I spend a lot of time in Delacroix and Reggio. We had a duck hunting lease pulled from us because the leaser did not pay the land owner on time.     Great content we were in your road side ditch on Sunday and you could catch a shrimp then put it on a bare hook across the street and catch a trout or a bass. Then we went to the pier and cough 200+ crabs great time in the Parish 🐟🍤🦐🦀

    I think if you’re net frame was square at the bottom it would work better. Just my thought. They catching shrimp every night out by me in Des Allemands and bayou gauche.

    Lol I'm also from St.bernard, I now live in houma, I once gotten a ticket in fouchon for doing the same thing,it was blocking the passage of fish,they said I had to be 15 ft. From the culvert and my net can only be 3ft. In diameter

    Get some vinyl tubing and cut it open lengthwise and then wrap the net frame rim, it'll help keep that mesh good longer

    I wonder if the dip nets would do better if the net material was black, or green? When you hold the net over the culverts, the crabs and bugs might see the net and try to avoid it. That is if the current isn't too strong and they can avoid it.

      This was filmed way on the eastern side of Louisiana you should not travel that far just to catch crabs and shrimp. Please look into Rockefeler refuge or Point Aux Chene WMA and google for crabbing in those areas.

      @@phuongnguyen-ol8lb you just have to pay attention to what he says in the video. He tells you what Highway he is fishing from and you just have to look on google earth. That’s how I found it

    You should put a large rock in your basket then place it about 8 in the water so your shrimp n crabs are out of the sun
