    looking at the timing and cost it seems cheaper to replace the console after taking out the first three screws. This video definitely helped me determine that was the better option. Thanks for posting

    Just did this over the weekend. Changed out my center console cover and added one with Red Stitching. Turned out great and yes, definitely recommend starting from the front and working your way back.

    For anyone else doing this a blow dryer on low heat setting will help stretch easier.

    Thanks for posting this!! I ordered the replacement from Ebay, but had no clue what to do. You vid walks someone precisely through each step. Mine didn't come out as great as yours, since I had no idea glue was needed. Still, it looks way better than it did before.

    Awesome video! I NEED this for my 2008 G35, but can't find replacement leather (only '09+). Any suggestions?

    Any way I can just buy the silver piece in the front? The fake leather part on mine looks just fine, but the silver finish has worn off and plastic is showing. Thanks!

      Hey man. Been searching for this answer, too. You can use this video up until 3:42 and then either vinyl wrap it or plastidip. I'm still deciding tbh. I just took it off half way through writing this message. Good luck.

    Did you only spray the edges? What about the top surface?..

    • @Miamig37
      @Miamig37  5 лет назад +2

      The top surface did not have spray on it from the factory so i didnt spray it either. So long as you stretch it nice and tight, use the spray adhesive and let it dry properly, it will stay in place. So far, it's been holding up just fine for me.

    Instead of glue, I used a staple gun.
