Did you try ranked? I'm asking because of a lot of animations and skills, especially viper walls, some ults, or some other stuff, how this affect drops on each
i the one who own R7 7800x3d with 4060ti, i play on ranked and lock it at 400 fps because my screen just 240hz. I make sure that never drop down even 399fps or lower, i play on 27inch 240hz 2k.

Could you test with 7200+mhz ram on the 14700k? A lot of performance left on the table for intel. 6000 is basically as high as 7800x3d will get, but intel will go higher and also scale better from it. Even further if you tune it.
I don’t have 7200+ mhz ram unfortunately , i mostly test the setups with equal mhz ram and stock etc because i try to keep the tests as fair as possible.
That's ok. I understand, but the 7800x3d doesn't benefit or run further than 6000mhz, so pretty much capped out, while intel isn't. Would be more fair if both were, IMHO.
Intel has more performance left on the table, while the x3d does not, or barely. Difficult to find people running Valorant benchmarks with the 14700k, though.
Maybe overclocking your ram is an option? Depending on what ram sticks and motherboard you have. @@aljerbench
nah 7200mhz is not working on every mainboard and 780x3d get higher as well, valo is just a amd game anyway...
@@mxmx225 I don't think that those missing performance from the ram will close the gap that much
@@QuaK3RRR Valorant isn't an AMD game. Valorant is an L3 cache intensive game. Ryzen CPUs usually have way higher L3 cache than their Intel counterparts.
which pc should i get
PC 1 - RTX 4070 - 7800x3d - 16GB ram
or
PC 2 - RTX 4070 - i7 14700kf - 32GB ram?
both are the same price
PC 1; you can upgrade RAM and CPU in the future
for PC2, you can’t upgrade the CPU (I’m talking about 15th gen) and 32 GB of RAM is already enough
7800X3D - Gaming
14700KF - Productivity

how is ur 1% low so high? my 1% lows are sitting at around 150-300 fps
which cooling are u using?
do you plan to test the 14900k soon?
I would like to in the future, but i will have to see if that fits in the budget!
You clearly are enjoying the experience more on the 7800x3d, look at how you have your knife out, B hopping, moving cross hair up down, left right. I see you aren't as energetic on the Intel. I'm not trying to make assumptions, but I personally only do that when the game feels VERY good, smooth, responsive, low latency. You hit good shots on both cpus, but just from the looks the 7800x3d is just so good
You are right! The benchmarks were recorded in the same hour and the 7800X3D always feels a little bit smoother to me. Can’t be too conclusive about that tho. But i will do more tests and try to see the difference in smoothness.
Frametimes are lower with the 7800X3D too, so it may be that :)
How do you get the motion blur? Are you using motion blur ingame or is that a render thing?
rsmb in editing
@@ShineEditorI think just regular motion blur/ rsmb would kinda mess up the crosshair still
@@MupikGaming if you record 120 fps and put rsmb with minimal settings and render in 60fps it works
how are you getting 700fps with the 7800x3d? i have the exact same pc parts with a 4070ti but only get 450-500 on 1440p on windows 11.
I have windows 10, do you have nvidia reflex on+ boost? it takes a lot of fps away
@@aljerbench ah gotcha, thanks il try turning it off.

Can u do some more detail about specs pc using in video like model and brand
Read the description mate
ive never seen intel get beat in the 1% lows. And I was worried about the 7800x3d being bad for the 1% lows. Why does this test seem off like the 7800x3d should not be winning by that much.
Valorant is more CPU based, and there's probably something about this game which let's the 7800x3d make use of its 3dvache. As someone who owns a 7800x3d, the scores from it in this deathmatch are accurate but I agree with the fact that the 14700k here shouldn't have that bad 1% lows. Maybe it's to do with the fact that it's using 6000mhz memory (intel benefits more with ram speed compared to ram timings) so maybe with 7200mhz or faster then the intel cpu would have better 1% lows.
Also, if x3d cpus have a game where they benefit with 3dvache they most likely will beat out intel cpus even in 1% lows.
Thanks a bunch mate! Needed to hear this. I do art and streaming with a vtuber also wanted to know if frames would drop from that. Got any thoughts?@@Yuni.05
valo is an amd game and if u have way higher fps u have also better 1% lows
Cuz you are out from cave without knowing amd 3d-v-cache, lol.
no matter what i do. i cant seem to get the same amount of frames that you achieve in this game with the 7800x3d. i got 32Gb ram cl30 6000Mhz amd EXPO (Tuned)

Well 14700k is more for overall productivity and gaming since it has a lot of core. But ofc single core performance amd will mostly win. Like gaming.
Valorant and most modern titles are not single core.
The question is will you be using programs for productivity that will reveal all of the potential from this CPU?
You looks more happier in the 7800x3D 🤣🤣🤣
do you like to aim more on intel or amd platform ?
I have had a nicer experience on the 7800X3D overall, but the i7 is not too far from it

Is there i5 13600k better than 5800x3d for competitive Fortnite ?
bro u dont even need to worry about better performance if u playing fortnite, both and even a i5 10400f or a ryzen 5 4500 would provide u more than enough frames
i have some earn, and tried maybe 7 different pc by myself, 5800x3d better for competetive Fortnite, it have more stable FPS. But i5 13600k better in all other stuff
@@luixkjkk he said competitive bro, that means he wants the most FPS out of the machine. not 'more than enough'
no.
def the 13600K cause it has a future upgrade and is almost on par with the 5800x3d, and if you pair the 13600K with a good DDR5 kit instead of DDR4 it will be better and down the road you can upgrade to a 14th gen cpu, on the other hand a 5800x3d has no upgrade route but its still a good cpu but if i had the choice between a new system i would go for the 13600k
Whats the mobo dude
May I know what capture card youre using?
3090
i got to say amd blew it out of the park with this one but intel is more stable overall like always in all games
Add some better ram to the intel and you will also see a boost 6000mhz is low
bro i dont have an infinite budget 6000 mhz is good for me@@deoxyt
Someone told me that even though the 7800x3d gets better fps that the 14700k is more powerful so it’s more smooth I just got into pc gaming and I don’t know a lot but all ik is my 7800x3d is butter smooth so I’m not complaining especially for what I got for the price
İf you are only gamer cus games dont care about cores. Games care core/cache. 7800x3d has 96 mb l3 cache and valorant loves l3 cache.İts the best cpu for only gaming. But if you wanna work with this i will go with 14700k,and 14700k has better results/same results in the gpu games like cyberpunk god of war. İf will intel improve the apo (intel application optimization) it will better results for every game. But only 14th gen has apo.But i think apo will be so good.Just wait for apo or get 7800x3d if you are only valorant gamer or else but my recommendation is buy 14700k and look the apo improvement like the dlss.
You can clearly see that from the AMD side the 1% low FPS and 0.1% low FPS (but really 0.1% low is not necessary) and that is what defines the smoothness and as you can see it is just better than Intel (in that case) but really these are just both great processors
@@Yex_1this did NOT happen😂😅
Thanks bro
Can you tell me which motherboard you use for 7800x3d and should I get 4070ti instead of 3090 will I get same performance
b650 will work and both gpus will give about the same perfomance for valorant
Thanks dude
I'm using a 3080 & 12900k and I currently get around 400-500hz in game (dips to 350s)
I just got the 540hz Asus monitor and want to get consistently above that 540fps
My question: In your opinion, if I change my CPU to the 7800x3d, do you think that's sufficient? Or do I need to change my GPU as well. Thanks buddy
The 3080 is fine for high fps! I have around 6-800(depending on the scenario/map) with a 3070 and 7800x3D so the 3080 is good!
@@aljerbench thanks for the reply buddy and saving me some money 😅 just curious, are you on ddr4/5?
I have the same fps and same frametime even though I have smaller specs, this game is so badly optimized for high end specs
what specs were u running? im thinking of buying 14700k but if theres a lower tier intel cpu that performs the same i will buy that instead

Dude, get a life.
If u have 540 hz monitor maybe worth :)
that does it just go for AMD man
First
But intel still has a lot better system latency and stability for it being monolhitic, lows will be much better when well configured with 8200 cl36 a-die chips, amd is chiplet trash, throw it away with the fire extinguisher, look at the overall frametime even that its an unconfigured os and maybe an non good silicon piece, you should buy a couple more cpus to test my hypothesis (that is clearly true) that intel performs much better than AMD in a proper developed ambient and has much more chances of going into a higher performace than AMD side, has you have way more options to mess up in your bios and lose 3 months of your like overclocking your cpu to the most stable point, btw, did you delied your 14700k and put a copper ihs? this would provide a much bigger performace increase in overall performace and latency of the system, making it get a better frames coming up with AMD🤓☝
DONT BUY AMD
I mostly test for the people that buy stuff and want it as good as possible out of the box, at this point the ryzen processors have felt better while gaming competitively etc on a 500hz monitor, and provided me with better stability and performance!
I understand as an enthousiast your opinion may differ, but with the same configuration of ramspeeds etc the Ryzen 7800x3D is the king of gaming at the moment.
The 5800x3D and 7800x3D are both monolithic processors, all cores are on the same die.
If you talk about the 7950x3d etc, they do not have every core on the same die, so you might be right about that one.
Amd and intel should compete with each other, do not blindly follow one or the other, otherwise the objective reality get overshadowed by your biased opinion.
@@aljerbench the nerd emoji on the end, it was a joke, also, 5800x3D and 7800x3D are chiplet, look at the delided cpu
