There is a good reason real pressure cookers have always been made out of strong metal than plastic. Furthermore, you can brown your meat and sauté your veggies in your real pressure cooker before pressure cooking. To do that in these plastic gadgets, you'll have to dirty another pan. And these things take up as much space as an Instapot and do just a fraction of what an Instapot can do. Save your money, and if you're a novice to pressure cooking, get yourself a good electric cooker (you can also use it as a slow cooker, a rice cooker, a yogurt maker, etc), or if you're more serious about pressure cooking, get yourself one of those beautiful German cookers like Fissler.
