Adidas decided to release Yeezys again here in 2024, so this month in March we've had a ton of new and old Yeezy sneakers being dropped on the Adidas confirmed app. Theres the Yeezy 350 V2 Steel Grey. Yeezy 500 Stone Taupe, Yeezy Slide Dark Onyx, Yeezy Foam Runner MX Granite, Yeezy Foam Runner onyx, Yeezy Slide Salt & Yeezy 500 Stone Salt. As we know Ye said that these Yeezys adidas was releasing were fake and not approved by him. So i decided to buy them all to find out whats really going on.

not sure how taxes work in the UK but he probably just writes off all his purchases during tax season. this is his job/business so he’d be able to do that. again tho, not sure how it works in the UK but this is how US content creators do it
@TR-xb4ih Not saying you don't know, but for people who don't know, "Write-off" doesn't mean it's free. It's just that you don't have to pay income tax on the amount as it is offsetting your income.

If they’d drop/restock colorways that people would actually want (Zebra, Bred, Oreo, Olive, Infrared, etc.) they’d probably wouldn’t be sitting
Adidas literally said that they would continue producing the final set of yeezys to keep people at work. Shoes like this are planned months, if not years ahead. I expect no yeezys will have a 2024 production date.
They could technically continue selling all the yeezy shoes if they want they just gotta take yeezy off the boxes and branding but. Since they own the design and patent they can make more when ever they want tbh.

facts. Thats how we got here in the first place. The shoes are mass produced ahead of time. Kanye is known to spin stuff when things dont go his way. He HAD to have a say in these.
Besides... Adidas made it clear that if they decided to make new colorways that they they would remove all Yeezy branding from the shoes
@SouthJerseyBaitReviews If you look at the patents Adidas own they include the full name of the shoe meaning they can, legally, sell the shoes with the same name. Yes Yeezy can go to court and ask that Yeezy be removed from say Yeezy 350 but he did signaway the model name and design to Adidas when the contract was made. I'm not a contract lawyer so I don't know the specifics.

@ThePolishGeicothe grey 350s were released only a month after adidas broke off with Ye. There’s no way they can design and produce a new color way that fast. Either Ye is lying or Ye actually stopped approving colorways a long time before Adidas dumped him

I got the mx granite colorway, and I find them to be more comfortable than the other foam runners due to the wider toe box.

This is how you can tell if consumers only buy sneakers because of hype or not and for me Yeezy 350 is the most comfortable sneaker my foot have ever worn besides of course the slides XD
The thing is elliot has a bunch of comfortable shoes already. He has ultraboosts, almost every yeezy boost model, the nike sacai vaporwaffle, and some nike zoom x shoes. I think when you have every type of shoe from style to comfort, It doesn't matter as much.
The Onyx foam runners are the first ever yeezy's I bought. I've been wearing them ever sense I got them.

I could immediately tell the gray Form Runners were different to the point I wanted to return mine to get replaced but realised the new gray ones are ALL like that, the front shape is less pointy and more curvy, can't say i like it but I like the colourway so I'll be keeping mine

Keep in mind that Kanye said he wasn't approving of some colorways before Adidas even dropped him. If the requirement to be "legit" is that Kanye had to approve of the colorway, then many of us probably have "fake" Yeezy's.

@@imoxin8643 I'm not sure which ones Kanye himself specifically considers "fake." In the mind of Kanye, it could be any of them, and we're unsure of which point Kanye stopped directly approving of colorways. The one that he explicitly called fake around the time of the Adidas split was a 350v2.

That's likely not true though. Adidas ordered, and had approved, the colors before the split happened. Elliott specifically mentioned this, and what Elliott is saying makes sense.

Even the boxes of the foam runners that i recently purchased (onyx and mx granite) are of different sizes. The mx’s box is bigger compared to the onyx’s box. Immediately noticed it while stacking the boxes
The grey mixture ones looked weird on the wall at Adidas Mall of Africa so i asked for my size and they looked weirder so I bought the black ones. In as much as I respect Kanye but I love foams and have been trying to buy them for years and now that I can get them I wont pass up on them because sooner or later they will sell out and resell for millions..

The shape is different but the size is the same. I have both onyx and granite. The granite one has more toe room but is more restrictive on the mid foot. The granite one is simply less comfortable for me.

Tbh just opened my foamrunners mx granite and they are dope. Silhouette is a bit weirder than the normal ones but color is dope. I preffer this colorway over the onyx one, it adds a bit of game to the shoe over the plain one.
Update: Been wearing all day, love them. Went up a size (im 43 in nike and went 44 and 1/2 in this one) and fits a bit roomy but really comfy. Dont expect comfort as the yeezy slides but they are really good.
Just ordered a pair of the mix granite last night and I like the look of them. You blow everything out of proportion. I’ve seen pics of people wearing them from this new batch and they look beautiful to me

Not gonna like the other foam runners u said where legit look more fake then new ones lmao. The Quality on the brown looks terrible. They're all real tho and YE just got people to follow what he said like sheep. Ye hasn't owned the 350 v2 design since 2016 and the slides he doesn't own either. So technically the only thing he did was push the product for people to buy and maybe agree with the colors that came out but YE himself didn't even design half of these shoes his design team did and he just confirmed the production but. Adidas can continue selling all of the yeezy shoes they just need to rebrand them and take Yeezy away but. They can release them later this year if they want and kanye wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Ye said they’re fake in the sense he didn’t come up with the colorway or authorize, so it’s not actually his vision for the brand or the model. Not that the material is any different or fake like a rep

I knew the MX Granites were funky looking, silhouette-wise, but I couldn't pass on the color mixture. I needed a lighter pair of runner for the spring/summer after all. I absolutely copped the 500s, since I have been anticipating those ever since the leaks way back. Lastly, I copped the Onyx runners because I needed a more low-key colorway in my collection

I purchased the MX Granite and immediately noticed the same thing! I even compared them to my kids foam runners and they obviously were part of the quality defects! Can’t return them so what do you do!

Going back after everyone started talking about it (mine haven't arrived yet) to the confirmed app it's plain to see when you're looking for it that the mx do have the more rounded shape on there as well. Adidas didn't hide it, just no one noticed, including myself. Is what it is I guess.

The foam runner factory in the USA went out of business once ye lost the contract with adidas. They might of destroyed the molds when the went out of business and adidas had to make new molds thats why they look so different

I was saying the same thing on the granite MX foam runners. As soon as I opened the box I said this is different, they also feel different on feet.
I just got my granites and the shape is definitely different from my onyx and stone sage pairs. Looks more like a potato lol
I got the foam runners and they are my first pair of foam runners despite many tries. I like the colour but I’m now slightly annoyed they aren’t quite the same as the others. I have no point of reference so 🤷♂️
Also got the salt slides as I only have onyx and azure and wanted a lighter shade.
I copped the DarkOnyx in size 12, mine was produced in 11/22 🤷♂️
I saw those granite Mx foam runners at a mall from some resell shop and I thought they where fake cause of how they felt and you definitely confirm that they are weird and different

I do want to point out for foam runner texture, theirs been differences between the MX ones and the solid color ones since day 1, with the solid being smooth and mx being rough

I got the slides they’re smaller than the real ones, stiffer than the real ones, and the shape is off.

Unfortunately only the toe space is wider. The mid foot is actually narrower. It’s just a worse fit imo
