Hiya. Yes it’s an emperor snakehead, a Channa maruloides. Biggest one I’ve seen, I’ve had him 3 years or so was was around 18” when I got it. He’s pushing 30” now
I live in Maryland! Their illegal in the snakes, but their are some in the ponds! Maybe I should🤫🤭......😂😂😂

Hmmm can’t remember, but certainly the bead filter polishes what does get through. It’s called a Cetus sieve if you want to look into it
You still see a little water, you should put more fish in that aquarium...

Hi Phil. I unfortunately moved the goonch on a few months back. I was struggling to get enough food down to him, and wasn’t the best environment for him. Was 30” when I took it out

Stunning fish mate I do miss having it.
PVC pipe connected to the bottom would have gotten the food down to the bottom where the goonch was hiding
@@karlmartin9525 haha that was the first thing I tried, and the bass sussed it out with 2 or 3 attempts and just waited at the bottom….
I’m sorry but those fish are just too big and overcrowded for that size tank. Some of those fish should be in a pond etc
