It always amazes me how dancers and gymnasts have incredible body-awareness-in-3-dimensions. I'm sure they're born with it, thinking back to when I was in high school. Certain people, usually girls, would leave the rest of us in the dust from day 1. How did they do it? Big shrug. Akira has the added benefit of being able to draw your attention and hold it so that you can't take your eyes off her. That's a rare talent. Without even trying she's larger than life. She should have a LOT more views and subscribers!

I don't understand the lyrics, but the sound and the moves make it seem like this is, like, a highly advanced party android that helps keep things lively at futuristic nightclubs: she has to dance like she's programmed to (symbolized by the zipping lips movement that one time,) but then she gets a chance to examine her own programming and have freedom of choice (the slow, clockwork-like section,) and then she decides that she's not gonna leave her job--but she's gonna dance like *she* wants to, not how anyone else wants her to. It strikes me as really empowering!
Whatever the meaning, *man* does this artist make dancing look like so much fun! All that choreography seemed really complicated, but it looked like a blast the whole time! 😁
