I just bought a Boto as well, though the lack of reviews made me leery. I really like it and was surprised that the seat is actually comfortable for me (I'm 5'2" - it might be less comfortable for taller people). The convenience is unparalleled. I don't think it took two minutes to set up or break down and dying/cleaning was much easier than my (still beloved) inflatable. Plus, there is a three year warranty and it is Coast Guard approved. They do need to update their assembly video, since the wrapping velcro is now attached to the boat.

Nicely done review. If I could still handle sitting that low & flat this would be a kayak to purchase. The tougher version in my case but this video of yours shows how the concept can work.

I've since upgraded to a portable stadium seat and it's 100% better. I actually thing the 9nly real weight limit is that backrest bar, which is weak

For the sharp edges maybe use some pool noodles from the dollar tree for some cushioning

Great review and video! I did buy one but just been waiting for it to come in but I really appreciate your honest review and showing us how well it can hold up in the water. I was a bit nervous about the weight since I myself am slightly above 200 but this helps ease my nervousness!

Have you used it yet? And would you agree? Also the stadium seat changes everything.

Thank you. I bought the "Cascade Mountain Tech Portable Folding Steel Stadium Seats for Bleachers , Black, Regular - 17"
And it fits perfect and is very comfortable

    Is this the light-weight (10lb) or the heavy-duty ? nvm -- I found it at 4:45 -- 10pounds.

Any updates on how this is holding up? have you been able to use it more? I'm seriously looking at buying one to encourage me to lose some weight. I use the heavy duty right now and want something lighter

Yes. I've used it 3 times since. I realized it's a little slower than my inflatables and 100% requires a stadium seat. But other than that it's absolutely held up with no signs of damage yet

damn i wish my state would let me yak with a high life. I highly recommend a stadium/bleacher seat. raises your butt off the floor and you get better back support

You think this boat would be fine for like largemouth or crappie fishing? I bought one with all my savings on impulse and I don’t wanna regret it 😂

Totally. You're not gonna regret it. There plenty of space inside swell for gear. Maybe just figure out an anchor situation depending on the location.

@@gcurbanadventures ended up buying the heavy duty bec I was nervous but honestly I don’t regret switching, I like the extra room and i took it on the ocean with no problems. I still will buy a boto bec they are more compact and are wayyy lighter so perfect for lakes. Thanks a lot!
