The Start Of A Legend Sir John.

There's always one smart arse..
Legend McPint!!!
Bring back those 2 strokes... How about the 650 supertwins competing the 250 two strokes in the lightweight TT? :)
Now they’ve got rid of tt zero fun class maybe they could it would be awesome to see
@@dumbleduke4225 Zero TT only paused. Will be back soon.
@@Superstocker669 marvellous >< I could be wrong but road racing fans in the main don’t want to see electric bikes and especially not when they are taking the place of other classes. No one wants to see Subaru parade laps either, correct me if im wrong?!
@@dumbleduke4225 For me it was very interesting to see the TT Zero Class fast development to a really fast 122mph something in a few years. And they never replaced another race. It was an additional class. So why not? The subaru thing didnt replaced one either. So if its not on cost of another class i have no problem with those. A bit more entries would be nice. But the Zero class was mainly interesting for companies and universities in the past, due to development and costs.
@@Superstocker669 I hear what you are saying. Interesting to see what they could get to but when there’s only two maybe three bikes in the whole class doing that and everything else is moving at a snails pace it doesn’t make for a very good viewing experience. By the time they get to the creg they are crawling. Although the subarus don’t replace a class I’d rather them crack on with the next race: they had good weather at the tt this year most of the week and they still had to shorten a lot of the races.
Just love that sound. Awesome video.
This wasn't very long ago but it does take you back to a much different era of TT racing. Back then there weren't any ex-world super bikes, but we did have a category known as F1 which was hugely entertaining. On a side note, Jim Moodie took his RC45 and broke the outright Lap record from a standing start, having said this, his tires were worse for wear as he completed his second lap. #whatanera
He didn't know what to say ....now you cant shut him up ,what a geezer 😆👍
I was there... great day for John ! :)
Humm... if I remember correctly, beginning of the TT in 1996,
