Yes! There’s another creator in this niche who made a video on how to grow a vlog channel. Her main channel has like 200k subs but her travel vlog channel has been stuck at 2k for a while. Some of her vlogs only have like 300 views after 2 months. It takes her credibility waaaay down when you actually go and look at how she’s applying her own tips and the results.

I wish I had this video back when I was starting. I was so mad because I had great content but wasn't getting any attention, any views. I felt like getting to 1000 subs was mission impossible. But after some time, I was lucky when I found out I could give my channel initial dose of subs, just enough to start getting noticed more and more. I got myself a first couple hundred subs very fast (I have personally used a bit of Famester), and after that my main channel gained a ton of organic traffic day after day.

Hey, thanks for all the info. Here's my situation: I used to have over 11k subs on my channel, but it got hacked two years ago, and it took me more than a year to recover it. Now, I'm left with just 9.6k subs, and my viewership has basically died out. What do you think I should do? Should I start a new channel since the YT algorithm seems messed up for my current one? Or is there something I can do to make the most out of this channel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

This is a fantastic video. Your percents in the last two chapters were confusing. I think you should have made each section 20%. There by giving editing and thumbnails to someone else gives you an extra 40% to spread amongst the other 3 areas.

Instead of the iceberg from 1-100k you should talk about the “Grind” to 100k. Icebergs recently have died down, and can be viewed as too long and boring. The process of 1-100k should be eras of where you are (similar) but shorter and more detailed. Great video! I love studying your content!
Interesting, I still think iceberg videos can do well if done correctly. Also I try not to follow trends too much

I'm motivated, currently im just a normal gaming channel.. but secretly i wanna turn this shit and go viral and live the big youtube life.

On the other hand, I have a channel whose main objective was always to tell stories of athletes, biographies and historical sports events.
However, when I saw that a baseball video began to grow, so I dedicated myself to making only baseball videos, I love that, but I want to tell stories of other sports, so I would like to know what strategy to use.
I recently began to make biographies of athletes from disciplines other than baseball, to see how it goes, But I see that my audience responds only to baseball, I'd like to know your opinion on that.

I used that x factor method. I am young adult author that shows the journey of an unknown author. Building yourself, this was my specific angle. Love simple wins of the different thigs that I have been through. I also have writing sprints 2 x a month that I write with you. Not to mention some of the easter eggs that I have about my book series.

The greatest thing about making videos about growing a RUclips channel is that these videos are watched by novice people who don't even know whether the content is worth it or not cause they have never been high on RUclips and sometimes they even watch complete garbage. Break a leg.

As a coach I'm thinkin of kettlebell training videos but adding some nutrition tips for fat burn and better performance. Good thing is that kettlebell training burn so many calories that it amplifies the effect of nutrition for weight loss, so in this example it would be a winner combo.

This was an interesting video!
In my opinion reaching the largest audience possible (while being authentic) is the most difficult part about RUclips.
After we watch HUNDREDS of RUclips growth videos, we start to subconsciously CHANGE our idea of what a great idea is and how to approach RUclips.
This ultimately CAN lead to us changing up the way to talk, respond and behave on RUclips. (we become inauthentic to ourselves and others)
In addition, we can start to think "FAST" growth is the KEY to RUclips. I have learned that SLOW and STEADY is the BEST way to approach RUclips.
This way, I find out WHO I AM on RUclips and what works best (based on my personality!) This can only happen over the course of time and prevent burnout later down the road.
Most LARGE RUclipsrs have been in the game for 10+ years! That's putting some TIME IN!

I just started a channel and used the methods I learned from a RUclips course which teaches different methods from what you spoke about in this video. I was taught to model successful channels and make very similar content, which I have done. My channel is faceless and I have 6 videos published and about 30 more scheduled to publish, my first video got a few hundred views then every video after that got about 10-20 views. 😑 after seeing this video I’m curious if it’s because my videos don’t stand out and blend in too much and are already done by bigger channels in the same style, as mentioned in the video. My question is… should I still publish the videos scheduled? Then later in the next batch of videos try to brand the channel in a unique way? Or would I need to start a brand new channel? I have been paying an editor to create the videos so there is money invested. If you have any advice that would be great!! Thanks!!
Still publish them and then just make new content, no need to delete or change anything too crazy. Just try to be new

I started an anime channel last year and it wasn't doing good, but then all of a sudden, it started popping off a tiny bit and I Ended up getting 119 subscribers and was waking up to 1.5k views and more the most ive gotten is 7.6k views. After a while tho youtube stop pushing my videos its been about 2 months now ever , you have anything on that ?
