Happy Thanksgiving. Right out the gate that heritage is gorgeous. The Deluxe is nice too. That KM is also a beauty. I remember when you had Robert Baker on . I started watching both of you about the same time. The 25/50 is cool and awesome neck. The case strap was hanging out on the 25/50 when you closed it. The Standard 82 is really nice also. Don't know I'll ever afford one but got to love the Artisan. Glad you were able to get the Yeti back.
I'm not a collector, so I've never understood having a guitar that you don't play. I've owned some really nice pieces in my life and enjoyed playing every one of them, including gigging. I was taught that it's a tool. I'm also a carpenter, so I have high end tools. I have them because they make job easier and better. I've always viewed guitars the same way I
Same. Im just a mediocre player but I buy guitars both because I like the way they look and I want to play them. I also dont like reviewers that look at stuff through an electron microscope and freak out over every tiny little thing. Some stuff shouldnt pass QC but some of the stuff you cant even see without zooming in 200x and complain is just dumb IMO.
That std 82 is one of those times you just gotta put down the dings and scratches pitchforks, insanely beautiful top that you'll only regret getting rid of.
Agreed. It's also my birthday guitar, so I would LOVE for Trog to keep that in his collection and one day museum. The thought my Bday guitar in his guitar museum puts a smile on my face.
That is one rare rosewood norlin era les Paul trog! Wow ! She's beautiful! The brown finish against the gold hardware always looks so rich! I wonder how many of those were produced in that norlin run? You always hear how quality dropped for gibson during the norlin era, but I've owned many norlin solid body's and they have been exceptional quality, great playing beautiful instruments! So much for the naysayers! Thanks Trog for the excellent show and your expertise for all Paul freaks out there!
That Brazilian rosewood Les Paul is great! I hope you keep it. The Artisan Les Paul is my other favorite here, although I think I would take all seven guitar's if I had the money.
Salutations Austin! A bunch of nice Les Paul’s, with a lot of really nice tops. Thank you for posting these videos, especially for the holiday! Please have an excellent and awesome Thanksgiving! ☀️✨🎸
I went back and watched your old video on the Yeti guitar, and I gotta say: it's amazing how much more comfortable you are in these videos nowadays. Haha! Trogly from five years ago was sort of a different dude. :)
What makes Robert Baker's KM so special is the way the pick guard, poker chip, pickup rings, and pickup bobbins all have the exact same matching shade of cream. You can't beat that.
12:45 i remember this guitar!!!! that color, so nice, but also the strap button being mashed in. that yellow top guitar is amazing, too. i hope you kept it!! a lot of those little things can be buffed out and fixed. gorgeous top. would love to see a collection of these with different grain patterns. all sitting next to each other. (at least 3!) :D

It always amuses me when Trogly says "I won't be keeping this one because it has player wear" yet he was gutted when he couldn't get a Greeny. Real wear... no thanks. Fake wear..... yes please! 😁
@@hughjarrse LOL, "yet he was gutted " hilarious hughjarrse, it has been a long time since I heard that term used! Thanks for the smile and a chuckle Sir 👍😉
I thought I was gonna have to put washers under a truss rod nut on my strat. But I removed the nut and put copper anti-seize, the stuff you put on sparkplug threads, and it adjust great!
@@markbaum9615 Ditto, one of the many reasons we keep ending up here. The fact that we are often here at the same time (speaking about all of us) is pretty amazing. My Son jokes that he might get me one of the FFND T-Shirts for Christmas!
I also love that smokey wood color on all of those. I would love to have one, but I already know that I can't afford one. I'll just admire from a distance.
Can't wait to see what you put on the shop from this video..I'm trying to be patient! ;p Thanks for another great video! I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch, maybe the one with the T.R. screw to tight.
That 85’ deluxe.. was it stamped on Oct. 9th? If so I’ll buy it!! Another guy named Marc was featured on your channel with a birthday guitar Oct 9th 1986. I wanna be featured toooooo
The latches on that Gen 3 case are actually a very easy fix. I definitely would recommend doing that rather than ripping the logo off and selling the case for "whatever you can get".
Almost got to meet les paul when i was 16, not bad for a poor toronto kid. He played monday night sets at the Iridium in new york. I had to go at 5pm missed him by 3 hours
That 1980 (my birth year, but I can’t afford vintage right now) Artisan looks like it was a boxy guitar with Les Paul wings glued on to it, such an odd 3 piece top.
I would HATE to have to decide between that Standard 82, super active top, and I love natural Standards, and that amazing jazzy Custom Rosrwood. Give me both and I stpp with guitar GAS.
Happy Thanksgiving Trog! Some people play their guitars! Why would you expect same condition in return? I don’t understand the collector mindset I guess. I would expect people to care for them but not treat it as if behind glass for its lifetime

I've had the same 2 Stratocasters for 25 years! Buying so many guitars seems like it would be overwhelming.
I do enjoy you showing us them though!
Every single one of these is absolutely stunning. A feast for the eyes
