Ryan Reynolds has shared the first look at Hugh Jackman's highly-anticipated return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
The yellow suit! The blue boots! The sticky-up hair! It’s all here, and pops beautifully next to Deadpool’s red garb - pure comic book imagery come to life.
We all thought Jackman had hung up the claws at the end of Logan until Reynolds teased last year that the mutant would be involved in Deadpool 3. Now, he's released a first-look on Instagram that shows Deadpool and Wolverine side-by-side.
But what's this? Wolverine in his classic yellow suit from the comics?
After years of black leather and potshots at the colorful costumes across the X-Men films, we finally get to see Jackman's Wolverine in all his yellow glory.
Deadpool 3 will also feature another face from Marvel movies of the past, as it was confirmed that Jennifer Garner will play Elektra in the upcoming film.
Deadpool 3 has just started shooting, with Shawn Levy directing and Kevin Feige producing, since this will be Mr. Pool’s first film in the MCU.
Deadpool 3 is expected in theaters May 3, 2024.

Many og DP characters are returning, mobius from Loki will return, Ben Affleck is joining the film most likely as daredevil, some X-Men characters will most likely return, Elektra will return.
This will be the final sendoff to the Marvel FOX universe!
