Try Medan Selera Boustead (front side for staff only, entrance at car park lift behind, Lorong Ceylon) and AIA food court at Menara AIA (not Capsquare) for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, fried rice with egg costs me RM4.50 at Boustead. One fried chicken and one vege with rice costs me only RM7, lower if the chicken is cooked in curry or sauce at AIA is an example. Mon Chinese Beef Roti at RM5.50 for chicken is quite filling. You can get cut fruits behind HSBC Bukit bintang at RM2 each. Indian restaurants also have budget options. Ramly burger in the evenings if you still wanna stay in budget prices. I did not try Alor Corner Nasi Lemak for breakfast yet but the queue there is usually ridiculous. Penang LRT construction started. Metro will be available by 2030 i think.
