Hi, I am reading your channel for some time now, and its really interesting. I am rather hyperope too since birth, but it was detected only at the age of 4. My left eye is +7.25 with +4.75 of astigmatism, my right eye +11.50 with +5.50 of astigmatism. As a child I had my left eye occluded to train the bad one which had a v.a. of only 10/400. Sorry to say it didnt work because I bumped into all obstacles with the eyepatch. In school I had improved to only 20/200, so they gave me an addition of 5 diopters for reading. Also my eyes never started to cooperate because of the big refractive difference. So they stopped me to wear the patch, when I was 7. Now I am in my late 30s, the v.a. of my ‚good‘ eye is 60% with glasses. Out of my amblyoptic eye I can only see light, shade an some colors, but essentially it is blind and useless. On the computer I use some magnifying software to read (together with my 5 diopters add), on my blind eye I have the same lens as left for symmetry. the bad eye has a strong nystagm and developed a deviation to the outside direction in the course of times. I wish you all the best with your struggle for your eyesight. I would be happy to see a little bit better even with very strong lenses… sabrina
