  • You've likely heard it already but, the Mammoth Trail at AOAA is STACKED with HUGE ROCKS! 👀
This trail is man-made, but don't let that make you think it's easier, the rocks are 6ft tall and the holes are big enough to swallow a Jeep!
After two fun days exploring AOAA, the last day of the #UltimateAOAA was set aside for the Mammoth Trail. This trail is said to be the LARGEST MAN-MADE rock crawling trail in the US. Not like anywhere else we've been, entrance to this trail can only be granted by park staff with prior reservations AND after a STRICT vehicle inspection. You must have additional rigs with you, a minimum of 3 vehicles and one support rig is mandatory. Other requirements are a full roll cage and a minimum of 37-inch tire. Helmets are required for drivers, passengers, spotters, and media. Luckily, Marvin came in clutch and had his Dad ship some Axel Offroad helmets to us overnight!
It was an incredible feeling rolling out to this trail with our group of rock crawlers, it felt like we were ready to battle the trail! Feelings quickly shifted as we got to the trail and began to walk the first section, it was ROWDY!
This trail is impossible without a spotter, make sure you pick someone you trust. One wrong move and your rig becomes an obstacle on the trail. Chuck asked Todd Barnhill to spot for him and there couldn't have been a better team that day, they rocked it!
We had such a great time on the last day! Those that didn't want to run the trail were able to watch everyone attempt the Mammoth Trail from above and it really turned out awesome. Also, this is where #UltimateSundayFunday became a thing. ❤️
    Thanks for watching!
